My cat has eaten different Science Diet formulas his entire life (4 years old on Easter). He absolutely loves most of it. He was not too wild about this particular formula. He ate it always because that's all there was, but always meowed and looked at me like " mom, again??" for a few minutes, whereas he would immediately devour the other formulas, even the diet. I'm still feeding him Science Diet, just not the Indoor formula.

I believe this product goes above being just healthy for my cat. We have been using Science Diet ONLY for our cat for its entire life (five uears) and the cat seems to be in perfect health. He does not eat any other food and does not eat human food. This product is all he eats and he is perfectly satisfied.

I love the quality and the value you get from Science Diet. My older cat has a sensitive stomach and this is the only "non-sensitive" food that he can tolerate! So I only have to buy one food for all my cats.

My cats love this and prefer it over the Light. Also the large chunks have been beneficial to my cats teeth - no more teeth cleaning required since feeding them ANY of the larger kibble types (Hairball as well as the Oral care.)

My cat, Philip, has had Science Diet foods most of his life. He is four years old and first started out on Friskies, but it was making him sick...giving him an upset stomach which eventually turned into no appetite. We switched him over to Science Diet after the vet had him finish out a tester batch - he loves it! He has a smoother, silkier coat because of it, is a very happy feline, and has no appetite or stomach issues! We recently added a Norwegian Elkhound to the family and she has been fed Science Diet from day one! We are a forever Science Diet family!

My cat ate Science Diet for her first 6 years because I always assumed it was the best and the claim of reduced stool smell. About a year ago, a friend pointed out that Science Diet's main ingredients are chicken by-products and corn meal....... just fillers, really. Since then, I have switched to Blue Buffalo, which I believe is better. I gave Science Diet 4 stars because, like I said earlier, my cat ate it for 6 years and has been healthy her whole life. I can't give it 5 stars because I believe Blue Buffalo uses better ingredients and therefore, is a better cat food.

Our cats like this cat food. They eat it quite a bit & we have tried different types of Science Diet & they still like this regardless if Light or Indoor. We really do not have fussy/picky eaters, so this is good to change around sometimes for a variety of taste.

I'm giving a neutral commment. I've had my two cats for 5 months now. Emma & Hannah came to me very skinny. I've managed to put a few pounds o Hannah, Emma remains fairly lean, I think it's her breed, which I'm not sure of.
Both cats like the Hill's for kittens, as I wanted to build them up. I am now thinking I should go to an adult catfood. I was dissapointed to find chicken meat-by product listed as the first ingredient, then corn, which, I've read numerous times in other reviews, is not great for your cat.
I do find this fairly pricey, but not the most expensive, wheen it comes to a loved pet, I guess it's not that high, if it weren't for the ingredients. That's rather contradictory I suppose, but my vet, we adopted Emma from, recommends science diet,
I'm glad to have found your site & look forward to getting feedback.

We have used several different types of cat food for our three male cats. This is the only food that doesn't upset their tummies, keeps the amount of hairballs down. They love it!!!

My cat is extremely picky, and fairly sensitive to certain foods, but she loves this food. I found her as a stray, and this food helped her safely put on much needed weight. I buy the smaller bag so it stays fresher. The Science Diet website usually has a coupon, so the price tends to be reasonable.

Where is the meat?

This is where I started to read the ingredients! Chicken by-products. Animal by-products. If you google by-products, it is basically everything left on the floor after they process meat for people. I am sorry, but my cats are my family. They deserve to eat the same quality that I do. And they even charge the same amount as other foods that don't have by-products!
Pros: vet recommended
Cons: animal by products, ground corn, high price for quality

I have a kitty who is a year and half old. I have switched her food many times since i've had her trying to find the food that works best for her and her constipation problems. She is a manx, and is prone to this problem. I had her on nutro complete care for cats, but decided to give this food a chance. I bought a small bag 3.5-4lb bag which can last her ~a month. I know to notice a significant change from the food change to give it a few months, but within a week, i noticed her coat was dull, she was shedding more. At first she loved the food, but by week 3 she was hardly eating. I changed her food immediately to avoderm, and saw a change in just a couple days.

My 3 cats (all two years of age) love this food! It's high quality and the bag says it reduces stool odor...I think it's true! The large bag lasts us about 2 months with 3 adult cats. I feed 1 cup in the morning and 1 cup in the evening and they are satisfied. Their coats are all shiny and healthy and they are just a bundle of fun!

This is a great product for maintaining a healthy cat. The package also says that litter box odor is reduced when cats eat this food and they are right. A great thing about Science Diet is that it's worth the money. There are always coupon opportunities, which let you save even more. Nowadays, the cheap brands are almost the same price [after discounts] if you compare pound for pound. But, you get much better quality with Hills Science Diet foods. I find that PetSmart is the least expensive place to purchase it & they offer a great rewards program, so I save big time!
I would give it 5 stars if my cat came running for it, but he only goes crazy for his treats!

My two cats are about a year and a half apart in age. Despite one being more of a kitten, she will eat this food with her "older brother" and sometimes try to steal some of his that is still left in the bowl! I highly recommend this Science Diet recipe as it is a great choice for a cat of any age.

Our pickiest indoor cat loves this food. It keeps him in good health, he likes the taste, and his coat is shiny and soft. The large sizes offered mean that I don't have to buy it very often, and the Hairball Control variety from Science Diet is good for our other indoor cat.
