When I got my kitten she was 6 weeks old,flea and mite and extremely under weight. I knew that Pro Plan wet food for kittens is the best for kittens and cats. She is now about 5 months old, healthy and active. Her coat is glossy and thick.

I work with a rescue and foster organization that feeds this brand, Purina ProPlan, almost exclusively to their kittens. And so by extension, so do I when I'm fostering kittens for them at home.
That said, there is a good amount of filler in this stuff - soy flour and protein, plus added colors and flavors. S if you want a canned kitten food that is only meat, look elsewhere. I tend to avoid this brand for my own cats for that reason.
But it IS a good, basic food that most kittens will eat; and the price-point is a bit cheaper than average.

In the never ending search to ensure our two guys get a bit of variety, I picked up a couple of cans of the pro-plan. Looked good and the ingredient list looked impressive.
Boys came running like they normally do when they heard me open the can, took a couple of sniffs, a little nibble, and then went off to eat dry.
Now I got one can sitting around for that rainy day when there is nothing else left and the boys will eat anything.
Others may like this stuff, but give em one can first just to see.

The ingredient list for this wet food is fantastic. Almost no filler ingredients, all the protein comes from animal meat, and it has an impressively high protein content. Since my kitten gets mostly kibble with one wet food meal a day, he always loves his wet food no matter what we put in front of him. How great a food is can only be seen in the long term and so far, my kitten has had no health issues and is very active. The price is reasonable as well for the quality you receive. Very satisfied!
Pros: wholesome ingredients, high protein content, reasonably priced
Cons: some artificial flavours, not grain free

I buy this cat food for my cat. She loves it! When I pop the lid she knows it is time to eat so she runs to her dish. I recommend this food for any kitten owner. She loves the two flavors.
Pros: kittens love it, good flavors

Purina is a very well-known brand that I trust. My kitten Izzi absolutely loves all flavors! My vet also recommended this to me, and I would recommend it as well!

We adopted a 7 week old kitten (he is now 10 wks old). I have been trying to get him to eat only dry food since all my cats before have been dry food only eaters, but to no avail. I finally caved in & bought all 3 varieties of this food. He seeems to like the flaked type best but all 3 are winners. I use it as a supplement to his dry, twice a day. He absolutely loves it! He hollers when he knows it is time for his moist food & then he just purrs & purrs when he gets it! One happy, spolied rotten kitty!

ProPlan is an excellent food and usually their products please even the most finicky cats. This kitten formula doesn't seem to be very yummy. I tried it out and it was left in the bowl mostly uneatten in favor of kibble.

We rescued 6 4-week-old kittens this summer. When it came time to introduce them to solid food, we tried all available kitten foods, one at a time. The Pro-Plan (Salmon & Oceanfish flavor) was the only one any of them would eat. I HIGHLY recommend Pro-plan--it's less expensive, great nutrition for growing baby kitties, and they love it!

We have to very picky kittens. We've tried many other brands, but the kittens will only eat the seafood variety of Pro Plan. We highly recommend Pro Plan to other cat owners!
