My cats love the shredded variety...especially the gravy. I love that there are no grains added, just meat and gravy.
My only request is a larger sized can. I have 4 cat and when it's feeding time, I have to open a lot of cans which then go into the trash. This is where a larger sized can would be great...less to open and less to throw away. Purina...please make a larger can size :)

I have an extremely fussy kitty. She does the "happy dance" while she's eating her Chicken and Rice food. This is the only canned food she'll eat. If I give her anything else, she licks the gravy off of it, pushes the chunks of food around the plate and then it just sits there. It's worth the higher price to get her to eat it.

Just a info for all who worry about by product, i called Purina and they put me totaly at ease, if you worry, call them. My adopted 4 year old Main Coon grew up on the reg. purina and did not want to eat anything else. So i am glad, that she likes a little better type - loves the chix. and liver and chix and beef. I still don't like the by product, but she eats, is healthy and it is safe.

My cat loves the classic pate type but there are only two flavors in Purina Proplan line for adult cat (why only 4 star rating). Noticed there are other pate flavors for senior, but my cat is only 4 so can't feed him that. I tried the Proplan Select pate kind and he gets finicky with leaving it over so don't by that anymore. Still, very good quality food and have swtiched from Science Diet to all of Purina Proplan both dry and wet food.
Pros: price, high quality, digestible

My cats certainly loved this brand of canned food. They took to it right away, ate all of their food, and looked like they wanted more. The texture seemed pleasing to them, compared to other brands that I have used where they would leave the chunks and lick the sauce.
This brand is probably one of the few that I get the most positive reaction from. It's rare that ALL of my cats will agree on one food, but this one had them all on the same page.
Pros: cats loved it, good value for the nutritional content, none of my cats rejected it

For the price this is a good quality food. My cats enjoy it and there is a wide variety of flavors and textures.

I try to feed my cat food that doesn't contain any grains or fillers.....just meat and the appropriate supplements. I feed my kitty the Chicken and Liver entree. It does contain meat by-product, but it's less expensive than some of the more 'premium' foods I feed my kitty and many of those foods contain veggies.

We have tried all different types of canned cat food for our 4 adopted kitties. They are like our little babies, and when it comes to food-they are really babies. They will try to bury it, and they will shun it and they will get angry with us and ignore us. We will come home from petsmart in Plainfield, Indiana and they know the sacks. They know what is in the sacks. Stan my male kittie will start taking the cans out, he has even opened my cabinet where I keep proplan and knock them out of the cabinet. I have woke up in the morning and all of the cans are on the floor. Sophie my little kittie will sleep with them, she gets a can when Stan knocks them out and will be sleeping with them under her arms, Fritz knocks them around, and Jane tries to open them. It really is hilarious. It is the only wet food they will eat, not to mention the only dry food they will eat. I don't care about the price. I want a good food for my kitties, and I want them happy.
I wouldn't change buying proplan for nothing. It is a great food for my kitties and the price is not all that bad. The cans are color coded so I know exactly what they are getting that day. We switch types every evening. They will get a different type each evening. The color coding is great. The cans are small enough when you don't have alot of cabinet space you can stack them and not take up to much room. It is a great product. I couldn't be happier.

My cat doesn't like the chicken and turkey flavors as much as the others. She loves the salmon and rice especially. Keeping in mind that I also feed her a high quality dry food and several kinds of healthy treats, I have noticed her coat is very nice and shiny.
