My terrier/chihuahua puppy is super picky and will not eat anything except for purina and he especially likes the pro-plan. I feel good knowing this food is just right for him and has everything his needs.

My Puppy would not eat Pro Plan

I have always been a big fan of Purina products. It is good quality at a reasonable price. However, my 5 month old puppy refused to eat Pro Plan when it was offered. She would turn up her nose and walk away. She would only eat it when nothing else was available and she had gone several hours without eating. She had not been a picky eater in the past so I believe she did not like the food.

I have a 4 month old toy poodle and she has been on this food since she came home at 8 weeks. She hates it. I have to force feed her to get her to eat even a fourth cup in one day. I still have to wet it down too, or she refuses to touch it. I had researched all brands of puppy food for important ingredients and this one looked good. However, she has been trying to eat feces and grass, which means that she is not getting enough nutrients. So, I'm going to try her on another brand and hope that everything works out.

I started my new pug puppy on Pro Plan small breed puppy food and he loves it! I even give him pieces as treats too. I think this is a great choice of food for your dog :)

I started my female dachshund on this after getting a new puppy. The vet gave us a sample 6lb bag for free. Prior to trying this product I had her on Nature's Recipie and Eukanuba. Nature's Recipie gave her horrible gas and diharrea even after a month on it. Eukanuba gave her fishy breath and she would practically starve before she would eat it. Now that she and the new puppy are on pro plan, she looks forward to her feeding time. Her coat is shinier and she has more energy. Not to mention no more gas or fish breath. There is also less clean up in the yard. I will recomend this brand to anyone who also has a picky eater.

I have a 4 month old Cockapoo who before was on a different brand of dog food ( the breeder had suggested it) , but she wouldn't eat it. I switched her to this brand since my other 3 dogs were always on it and she LOVES it, I even use it as treats when she is a good pup.

This really meet's my Chihuahua puppy's nutrional needs. She is maintaining a lean and healthy body figure. This food has so many things that are excellent for a growing puppy. She loves it so much that I use it for treats sometimes.
