I have fed my gun dog this food for the last 2 years. My vet and I reviewed many products and decided this was the best for an active dog working in the field. He recommends this to all his hunting dog owners.

I have a 9 month old Alaskan Malamute that just loves to run. He has been on pro plan performance since he was 4 weeks old and he just loves it. Following the amount of food that is on the packaging we have been able to maintain his ideal weight thought the seven months that we have had him. He weighs 82 lbs, which is ideal for a 9 month old. This food makes his coat look really nice and I don't have to add any vitamins to his food.

Excellent Product!

Pro Plan Performance is the only food so far that is able to keep the weight and condition on my working dogs without having to add additional supplements. I have German Shepherds and they work and play hard and it is difficult to maintain their weight without having to overfeed which then causes them to get the "runs."
Pro Plan Performance has solved that problem for me and the dogs love the taste.
I would highly recommend this food.

My dog loves to be active and run all over our farm. It was getting hard to keep weight on him cause he was running all day every day. So our vet recommended this, and he loved it! His coat was nice and shiny, he loved it and he started to gain a lot of muscle. He is a great looking dog and I would recommend this stuff to anyone. It's a little pricey, but that doesn't bother me when I want the best for my dog. Thanks Pro Plan!

I have German Shorthaired Pointers that hunt and compete in field trials. I have tried every brand out there - recently went to a very high quality, grain free with 30% protein and 20% fat. This was supposed to trump all other foods on digestibility and nutrition - - my one dog wouldn't eat it, and the other just got the "runs". Went back to Pro-Plan performance and POW!! the diarrhea disappeared in 1 meal! the my skinny girl is putting weight back on. Pro-Plan performance gives my dogs the nutrition and calories they need to stay healthy and fit - when you have dogs this active, you need rocket-fuel - and Pro-Plan Performance delivers!! In addition, they eat like I am giving them cookies! and have incredibly shiny coats, clean and healthy teeth and enjoy life more than ever! Thanks Purina - "Chip", "Jaegr", and "Melodie" thank you too!

I have a 22 dog kennel, labs only and we were feeding Purina ONE but I am now in the process of trading all active dogs to Performance. The stools are better, the look is better and the dog's perserverance is better. We will put all the dogs on it come winter.

I have Australian Shepherds and I had my five-year-old Aussie on a sensitive skin food from another company. When I got my puppy, he was on Pro Plan Performance. Since it is All Life Stages, I changed the first one to this food so that I wouldn't have to also buy puppy food. The change in her coat was dramatic. She stopped scratching and her coat became very silky and shiny. It made such a difference in her. The puppy's coat was also very healthy. He's two-and-a-half now and the other dog just turned eight and their coats are beautiful. I truly believe in this food. I also use less food. It is worth the extra cost.

I tried every hot, top brand under the sun but nothing put meat on my dogs' ribs like this stuff. I only hope the formula doesn't change as it becomes more popular.

My 2 year old dog loves this food and it has been great for her coat and weight. I was noticing that you could see the outline of her ribs just a little and I just attributed that to her being so active. I switched her to this food and she has put on some weight in that area and looks great. This food was just what she needed!!!

We run hunt tests with our lab.We feed this high quality dog food and the energy ,hair coat,and digestability is there.Have tried many different dog foods and by far this is the best.It is unfortunatly a little pricy but for what we do with our dog it the best for him.He is an athlete and must eat like one.

My dogs have been on a very high quality food. Unfortunately, showing in breed and obedience, I was not able to keep weight on my dogs, or my puppy.
After switching to the high performance food, I was able to get the weight back on, and my dogs have more energy, and look much better!!
This is not a food for a cough potato, but is excellent for an active dog or a puppy that needs extra weight-or that is going thru a growth spurt.
