I was basically feeding my cat garbage before. But she didnt seem to complain ,and we werent having problems with it! But i decided that she needs a healthier food. So i seitch to blue buffalo! And WOW! what a difference! Her coat is softer, and shinier, shes more active, and shes full longer! Blue buffalo will now be her permanent food! And she loves it too! The only con is that its really expensive. But jd do anything for gracie! So its totally worth it

My cats are not picky eaters but I noticed that they were throwing up more than usual on their old cat food. I decided to change up the food and see if that would help. WOW! No more cats throwing up anymore! They also seem to really love this food, I open the bag and they come running (they never did that before). Me and my 3 cats are so happy with Blue Buffalo. They love the canned cat food also! My husband and I also have notices that their coats are shinier and softer. Thank you Blue Buffalo!

I started my oldest cat (10 years old) on this food after extensive research concerning kidney and digestive issues in older cats. The foods I felt were necessary for helping these two areas to function in a healthy manner are in this food. It has Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bacillus subtilis, Bifidobacterium thermophilum, Bifidobacterium longum, which help with good digestion and keeps the stomach balanced with good bacteria which helps fight bad bacteria. Cranberries, blue berries and kelp for healthy kidney function. Alfalfa, thiamine, and taurine also help with better kidney function. Which is a great food for people who want to protect their cats against diabetes and even overweight cats. Flaxseed is also an ingredient that helps with the heart. I could go on and on, the bottom line is, this is a great food to build up your cats immune system so it can do a good job and keep you happy and also your cat. The money you pay is worth it. I own a $500.00 cat due to poor nutrition. I thought I was feeding her well. I just trusted the ads on the TV and never read the ingredients. The first ingredient should be chicken, turkey, or duck....not chicken meal or corn! Cats are carnivorous and "Need" meat! My cat loves this food and her health is good, her fur is shiny and she is very frisky!! I found another cat food for my younger cats that I am going buy today, the Blue Buffalo Wilderness. It has more protein which more active cats need.

My cat is a very active 10 year old who spends the majority of his days outside exploring and catching birds, mice, rabbits, and an occasional bat. He is the absolute love of my life so of course I only want the best for him. He grew up eating Purina One but now I do not recommend Purina for anyone since the day I found a huge chunk of some weird by-product in his food that grew 5 different kinds of mold on it after less than 24hrs in a ziploc baggie. After switching to Blue Buffalo, I found that he has slimmed down to a healthier weight and his long hair seems to be a lot healthier than before. It makes me sleep much better at night knowing that his food doesn't have weird and unnecessary ingredients in it. I pay a little more money for less food but, overall, I definitely think it's worth it.

After eating another cat food that claims authentic ingredients only, my 2 year old female cat developed struvite crystals. After reading some blogs, I found many people saying they had a similar experience with that other food. The vet put my cat on a prescription urinary diet which she was on for a year. Her coat got very dry and itchy. I wasn't happy that corn was the main ingredient. She was suffering from hairballs, too. After checking with my vet, and making sure the magnesium levels were good, I decided to try Blue Buffalo. What a difference! Her coat is so shiny, the hairballs have stopped and her energy levels are way up. She has not had any urinary problems. I can't say enough about this fantastic food!!

I have two cats, ages 3 and 10, with the ten year old being super finicky and resistant to change. After reading the reviews on this food, I decided to purchase this brand, and I was amazed at how well the cats reacted. I filled one bowl with the new food and one with the old, and the new food was immediately eaten, and the old brand of food still sits on the floor. Our older cat throws up constantly, and since bringing home the new food she has not thrown up once. I have to say I am beyond impressed with this food, and it makes me even happier knowing I am doing my part to feed my cats quality health food that they actually enjoy. My cats don't even have a problem with the lifesource bits, which I had read on other reviews as being an issue with some of the cats. I love this food and I thrilled to have found it. The product is rather expensive, however that is a cost I am more than willing to have seeing how well my kitties responded to it. Good things in life may cost me a bit, but in the long run with how this food stands to improve their health and longevity, it is worth the cost.

The ingredients in this food are on par with many other more expensive premium cat foods. The Life-Source Bits feature is attractive but ambiguous. The kitties seem to like the smell and taste, and must find it satisfying since they are full after the surprisingly small portions recommended on the packaging (which means even more for your dollar plus less litter waste.)
Pros: healthy ingredients, lifesource bits, corn-free
Cons: cats rarely chew the tiny kibbles

I've tried different cat food over the years and my Hamlet loves Blue Buffalo the best! His bowl is almost completely empty by the end of the day! He hears the scoop go into the food and he comes running every morning! He's a picky eater, will NOT eat fish- only poultry- so it's great that Blue Buffalo comes in a variety he'll eat!
Pros: healthy good for him, all natural
Cons: a little expensive, only found in pet stores

We switched to blue buffalo from science diet. While the cats did OK on science diet at first, my cat in particular started vomiting up the food. After we switched her and her sister to blue buffalo, there has been little to no vomiting, and less hairballs as well.
we put my cat on a diet when we switched over to this food so she gets 1/4c in the AM and PM. even though she's getting a little less food, she's actually more active than when she was on science diet.
hooray for blue buffalo!

One of my cats was not able to hold down the food I was feeding him. Both of my cats really liked the food but what was the point if one of them could not hold it down. I researched many different brands of food and decided to try Blue Buffalo as it contained very good ingredient. While my cats still wait for me to sprinkle just a little bit of the light food on top, they quickly eat everything and the one has held it down just fine. While it's more pricey... it should be as the ingredients are much better. I feel good about spending the money as I know I'm feeding them a quality product.

Ok...my 7lb cat ate 45lbs of this food in 12 months. Thats 3.8lbs a month. Thats $11.00 a month!! If the freight wasnt so high, it would really be a great bargain. Not sure why it is, but it is...??

My tortoiseshell Abby, used to have touble with the cheaper cat foods. She would throw it up every so often, I found out about Blue buffalo from a representative at Petsmart. Abby does great on Blue and loves it. Ialso feed blue to my two other cats.They also love Blue Buffalo.

I picked up my cat from a shelter that he had been at for three years, and I found out that he wanted nothing to do with the "good" food I was trying to feed him. I tried several different kinds, and he would just sniff it and walk away. One day, there was a BLUE rep in Petsmart. When I explained the situation, she recommended one of the BLUE products, and my cat absolutely loved it. I have been feeding him the adult formula ever since, and he has managed to maintain a healthy weight, he has lots of energy, and you would never guess that he is about ten years old.
Pros: cat loves it, great ingredients

This food has high quality ingredients that I don't feel guilty feeding my cat. He is a large male (although not overweight) and he really liked this food. I didn't think he was going to eat the Lifesource bits, but he did each time (even though he will eat them last). His energy was wonderful and his coat looked good. I feed him 1/2 cup per day and that's all he ever needs until the next day.

My cat has had digestive problems since we found her as a stray when she was 5 weeks old. She was malnourished and unhealthy and has since had problems with diarrhea, vomiting, and sensitivities to foods. I gave her this food and she loved it!! She has not had problems with her stomach since! If you are looking for a food that is closest to the freshest meats, vegetable and nutrients, this food is it. Lifelong health is what you want for your pet, and if they healthier they are now, the less likely the will be ill at an older age. If you want a quality food that your pet will love, then buy this food. Great nutrition, and pets absolutely love it!! It's a little pricey, but you are definitely paying for quality. Nika says thank you, and her belly feels better!!

My cat loves this food! I adopted my cat and she had been being fed "junk" food. I was trying to switch to a holitic food and I tried several different brands, but she just would not eat them. So, I ordered the free sample from Blue Buffalo and she gobbled it right up! Also, since she is finally on a high quality food I have noticed her coat has improved, she sheds less and she just looks younger overall. I highly recommend this product!

Shortly after I took him in as a stray, my cat Harpo was hit by a car and had one front leg amputated. After the surgery it turned out he was allergic to the most commonly used antibiotic in cats, and had to have a transfusion to live. That was over six years ago and he's still thriving, but he's apparently allergic to many things used in most cat foods. BLUE Spa Select is GREAT! Harpo was at least three when I took him in, and he still has lots of energy after switching to this. He loves it. Thank you BLUE for making it and thank you PetSmart for carrying it.

One of my two 12-year-old tabbies, Bugger Lee, was beginning to look like a circus clown. She had been licking her fur off in various places, and when taken to the vet, nothing could be found as the cause. I perused the internet trying to find out what I could do to help her, and I came across an article about cats that are allergic to wheat and corn products. I immediately looked at their Science Diet dry food, and there it was, wheat and corn products. I went to PetSmart to look for ANYTHING that didn't contain those products, and there happened to be a Blue Buffalo representative in the store. She told me about their products, I looked closely at the bag information and purchased one to try. Almost IMMEDIATELY Bugger stopped licking her fur. It grew back to a normal state, and is now shiny and full. Both cats absolutely LOVE this product, and I will NEVER go back to another. THANK YOU BLUE BUFFALO!!!

I had my 1 1/2 year old Egyptian Mau on Nutro Complete Care Indoor. i thought he was getting the best. Funny thing about Nutro Oceanfish there is a ton of chicken and meat in it. I read all about Blue Spa and was convinced. Went to their web site and ordered a free sample. when it got here i put a little in Jack's bowl... he would not stop eating it. I went to Petsmart and bought a 3 lb bag and the salmon treats. He just loves this food and treats. I'm going to try the canned food as a once a week treat so that he does not get heavy. Egyptian Mau's are VERY active and love to jump high in the air and do flips while chasing toys and wet food is mostly water and will put weight on. This is just simply the best cat food and he will never have to eat his chicken/meat oceanfish by products again. His waste also is not so smelly! Even if you are not sure about this go to their website and get a free sample... you will be amazed how much your kitty will love it.
