I have only been using this product for my 6 month old lab and 8 year old lab and I have seen a difference overall with them. They have more energy and their coats are shiny and soft and they dont seem to shead as much like when they were on Science Diet...and the best thing is that they love it and it also is less in the yard to clean up as the co. rep told me at petsmart @ the Willowbrook store!
I will continue to use this product and have told all my friends who have dogs to buy this... I buy the large breed puppy food and the large breed adult food - the canned food is good to.. I give that as a treat once a week mixed w/the dry!!!!!!!!!

Our 4 month old Lab has been eating this food since we brought him home. His coat is shiny, he is healthy, and is growing like a weed! He is expected to be over 100 lbs and I feel like we are supplying him the best food to build strong bones and muscles!

Allergies no more

My boxer has just started showing allergy issues after being on a lower brand food where the main products were corn. A month n half after being on this other brand ( not Blue ) my baby started getting hot spots all over and just would not stop itching and on top of it his stools started to get loose AGAIN, thinking that we had resolved at least the one problem ( stools ), we had 3 problems. Not only were his stools loose but he had one other problem which i talked to vet about and she just recommended to keep an eye on it and make sure it doesn't get any worse. Not thinking much about the foods he has been on, I started thinking back from all the foods he has been on and I decided ok enough is enough I know he needs the grains ( cuz his tummy can't handle grain-free, which is a lil odd ) and def needs something more digestable. I did my research over all different kinds of foods especially the ones I planned on putting my baby on. Its pretty much been trial and error with him. Believe it or not BLUE has worked wonders within less than 24 hrs he completely stopped itching the hot spots and his stools became normal not loose not overly hard, just right lol. and the other problem he was having has so far been resolved and not only that he is digesting Blue ALOT better and i'am thrilled ( cuz he did start throwing the old food up mainly cuz he normally hoovers his food down lol and i knew he wasn't digesting it well for some reason). Another thing is him going number two has also cut down ALOT and he is def becoming more full.He has cut down to only 2 bowls a day ( used to want to eat 1/2-1 bowl extra )which for us is a pretty good cut down and saves us extra. So for us Blue has worked out to prove itself and i'am very thrilled.

I do agree with some of the other reviewers that every dog is def different and dog food is trial and error ( which my vet explained to me too ) . For me, i've definitely learned alot about whats awesome for my spoiled rotten boxer baby and glad he is doing so awesome!

Gave my 9 week old Rotty bad diarrhea even with the transition. Just didn't agree with him. I never had good luck with Blue even with my cat who couldn't keep it down. I thought i would try it because of all the good reviews but back to broiled chicken and rice for awhile. I was recommend Nutro puppy which is easier on their stomach will see there are to many choices just have to find something that agrees with my puppy. If Nutro doesnt work im going to try Halo that food saved my cat and alot of money at the vets.

Wonderful Puppy Food!

We just added a German Shepard puppy to our family and began feeding her this food. She loves the food and her coat is amazing! I would only suggest that they also provide this same thing in a wet food. You can find a large breed wet food but not specifically large breed puppy.

Got my lad puppy ,5 weeks ago she was 4 mos. old. Had horrible gas, and loose stools, changed to Blue Buffalo Large Breed Puppy Food last week. No more horrible gas and has firm stools. Happy to be around her, and she seems happier also.

When i got my puppy i wanted to feed him with nothing but the best. I did my research and saw that this was a really good recommened brand of dog food I had also heard from a veternarian that has the same kind of dog that i have. I was a little sticker shocked when i saw how much it cost but i knew it was a better choice for my puppy. I have been feeding him Blue Buffalo for about 8 months now and he absolutely loves it. I will continue to feed him this food so that he stays strong and healthy. Plus i like the fact that its made with real chicken and there are no by products in it and it doesnt have any of the things that would otherwise have an allegic reaction to my dog

Our Wirehaired Pointing Griffon is now 7 months old and has been on Blue Buffalo the whole time we have had him. He is trim and has a wonderful coat. This product is well worth the money and the peace of mind you get from giving your dog a quality food that will help you grow a good, healthy dog.

I would recommend this food to anyone with a large breed dog!. I have done research on the different brands and this was rated pretty high. I beleive if you feed a better food you will have less health problems. My dog loves the taste and has not ever had problems with his digestive system. I always check the packaging when buying products for my puppy. I also use the Blue Buffalo Dog treats. He is growing like a weed and I feel that the high quality ingredients are key to his health and growth. The extra support for his immune system and bone growth. It may cost a bit more than the other brands but, I think the long term investment out weighs the price!!

We bought our Boxer puppy and put him on Nutro for puppies and he was experiencing runny stool which was messy to pick up and made him uncomfortable. On recommendation from another boxer owner we switched to Blue for lge breed puppies and his digestion problems are over. Boxers inherently pass gas to we deal with this but to have a firm stool and healthy puppy is priority ONE. He loves it but I with it came in different flavors - costly but worth it.

We have three pups under the age of one and we were feeding them all different foods. One is large breed, one has digestive problems, and the other was just on the food he was on when we adopted him. We were cooking chicken and rice for our husky with the tummy problems. All three of my dogs are now on this food (one food = YEA!) and are doing wonderful! We get so many compliments on their coat and how soft and shiny it is. Their stools are normal and they love when it is dinner time. For a variety, at night we put some water on it and mix it around to bring out more flavor and they love this special treat. We have a husky, lab/pryenees, and a great dane/border collie.

I have a three month old German Shepherd/Pitbull mix and he LOVES this dog food! I love the ingredients! I feel great knowing that my puppy is getting all the important nutrition he needs to grow up big and strong. The only downside is the price. However, in order to keep my puppy healthy, I am willing to pay more. Great product!

FANTASTIC FOOD

I really cannot say enough about this high quality dog food. I recently purchased a yellow american field labrador and wanted the best food possible for him. I spent hours researching foods and their ingredients. I was shocked at some of the poor quality ingredients in some of the foods. yuk!! There are a few good ones out there Blue Buffalo becoming my choice. I also use their different flavored snack bars and treats. My puppy has a beautiful coat, nicely formed stool and no gas. He is active and playful and absolutely loves his Blue. He only eats dry for now and sometimes I add a little sweet potato or spinach to his evening meal. I also used probiotics for 2 weeks to give his little digestive tract a nice boost. The fresh and natural ingredients in Blue are just great and probiotics are also listed on the bag as ingredients. Also just switched my 8 year old Bichon Frise along with my cats to Blue. No more throwing up hairballs with the cats. Definitely recommend Blue Buffalo for all cats and dogs. We are a Blue family at my house. Premium food, a little bit pricey, but all good food costs more. Well worth the health of my pups and cats!!!!
