Only the best for my friends

My feline friends (4 ot them) Don't get to choose what they eat, so the only noble thing to do is give them the best. They shed less, and are more active than when on their previous food. They don't always hound me to top off their bowls, because it stays fresher longer, and without preservitives. Try it, and I'm sure your cats will thank you.

Excellent/You Must Try

I read the reviews on the Petsmart website on Blue Buffalo cat foods for various types one afternoon. It all sounded really good, consistently. I tried a small bag and just like others, no transition needed, my two cats loved it right off the bat.
I purchased a larger bag, and in the month or so that they've been eating Blue Buffalo, I have seen other benefits that other reviewers had noticed in their pets.
I would utterly be a spokesperson for this cat food. I am no fanatical person on anything, but I have seen incredible changes that have left me wondering at the no-brainer simplicity of "who knew nutrition could do such great things?"
As others testify, my cats fur in one month's time is incredibly softer and more plush. My Russian Blue specifically had greasy hair at times and now it looks the way Russian Blue fur should look. The silver tips are brighter and more noticeable. My RB was lethargic, and now he has energy that I haven't seen since the precious kitten days. I love that both of my cats are more energetic and alert.
I don't smell the litter box much these days, I never see hairballs, and I feel confident that I won't be worrying about urinary tract health. These are also things that were frequent among other reviewers.
I have read all about this on the Blue Buffalo website, and real meat and the way they process their food ensures the highest quality of nutrients and vitamins (I think it is cold processed, so that all the vitamins and minerals don't exit the food through the heating process). They have a checklist of food comparisons that allows you to compare foods you use with Blue. Blue's checklist is unbeatable. I also like that they list their ingredients and you can scroll over each thing, and a box pops up to tell you what that ingredient is.
I am not one to afford high end products like this, but it's true, love them like family treat them like family. Feeding them less is on par with giving your kid Mcdonalds everyday. Other foods are just fillers with "by products", corn meal, grains - all things that aren't natural for cats, all fattening/filler products. I read an article shortly after trying Blue Buffalo called "5 Things Pet Food Corporations Don't Want You To Know". I encourage you to search this out. It lists the appalling things put in everyday storebought pet foods, like beaks, feet, tumors, and even euthanized pets.
Please do your animals a favor, a service, a justice: feed them Blue. The extra cash will go a long way. Plus, I have observed that my cats do not eat as much of this as they did the other. They don't go through it as fast because it actually fills them up quicker being so vitamin rich and having real meat as the protein source. Other reviewers comment on this as well.
I tell everyone I know, cat or dog owner. Two people have changed to Blue and I can't wait for their first month to go by to see what changes they see in their pets. I am Blue all the way now, I simply can't go back to anything less.

Excellent Product

I have 2, 3 year old cats. We had them on a different type of food and after a while the female cat started getting really loose stool. Plus both her coat and her brother's coat were not the best. When we would take her to the vet, they couldn’t figure out what was wrong. So one day the vet said to try and change the food and that's what we did.
Ever since we changed the food, she has been as healthy as can be and is off the medicine that the vet gave her. Now both of their coats are extremely soft and silky. This food also keeps them at a good weight as they are a maine coon mix and are allowed to eat when ever they want to.

Pricey but High Quality

I hesitated buying a cat food this expensive, but after losing one cat to health issues, I decided it was worth it to give them a high quality food. I like the fact that the first ingredient(s) are real meat, and meat of the type that the food flavor is supposed to be.
My cat had vomiting issues, and this helped somewhat but did not solve the problem. He loves the food, so I need to limit the quantity served.
The odor is a little strong, but not offensive to me, but the cat dish is in the laundry room, not in the main house. It gets more odiforous if you put hot water on it to make less expensive "canned food" - which my cat thinks is a great treat.

I am in the process of switching pet food brands for my pets. I have 3 cats, one of which is on an all wet-food diet due to dental issues. I bought the Blue wet food for that one and this for the other two. One of those two will eat anything if you let him. He devoured the bowl in half an hour! The other one was quite enchanted by the smell and ate it with about as much gusto as the other brand of dry food I used to feed them.
I'll deal with the smell if it means my buddies are eating a healthier diet!

My mom has been buying a different variety for her cat who has food allergies and bought this by accident so she gave the bag to me. I put some in a bowl and immediately all 4 of our cats were interested in it. The one cat is extremely particular, likes a certain bowl in a certain spot. When I poured the food she stopped and smelled the air then headed right over for a sample.

My cat loves this food. I highly recommend Blue to anyone. They deserve nothing but the best. He looks great and he has a shiny coat and he's healthy. I wouldn't sacrifice his nutrition to save a couple of bucks by buying a low quality cheap product. You just have to compare ingredients to know what I'm talking about. Don't just believe what the packaging says by saying its complete nutrition. Stay away from corn and animal by products to name a few. High quality brands stress those ingredients are not included for a good reason. My favorite top three brands that Petsmart sells are: wellness, Blue Buffalo, and Innova. Try it out and you'll notice the difference of these brands compared to others like Iams and Purina that you wouldn't go back and you'll stick to holistic.
Pros: high quality, digestible, taste

We adopted 2 kittens from a shelter when they were 6 mo old They are now 2 years old. We started them on the Healthy Living variety after a call to a Blue Buffalo customer rep. The cats absolutely love the food. We feed the chicken and salmon flavors mixed 50/50. The cats are the picture of health, very active, and very content. We have recommended the food to friends and they have changed to Blue Buffalo and are very happy with the results also.
Thanks go to Blue Buffalo.

During his first year, we discovered that our baby Riley had allergies. He broke out in hives and scratched until he bled. You could look in his eyes and tell he was miserable. I felt so bad for him. I started doing research and concluded that he was allergic either to corn/grains or chicken. However I couldn't afford a pet allergist. I read great reviews on this food and decided to try the salmon formula on Riley. Within a few days he was no longer itching, and within a week his coat felt softer and the scaley patches had gone away. A year later he is a healthy, vibrant, happy cat. He walks around the house happily swishing his fluffy orange tail!

I adoped my pretty little himalayan and she was vomiting everyday, sometimes more than once, until I changed her to Blue Buffalo Spa Select Salmon & Rice Adult Cat Dry Food. She loves it so much and has not vomited since I switched her. I have tried the chicken flavor and she turned her nose up to it, but the salmon flavor she will meow for her bowl to be filled up. In my opinion it does not smell as other reviewers have mentioned.

I have a 4 years old Russian Blue. Each time I switch cat food, I put both out let him choose. This is line of cat food he went through: Meowmix, Iams, Royal Canin. He always go for the expensive one. Now I can't afford buy Royal Canin anymore, so I put Blue and Royal Canin side by side, he eat it ALL what's in the bowl of Bule Salmon & Brown Rice. My cat knows what is best food. We both very happy because I save money.
Blue is very good new line of pet's food. Test it out yourself, buy one can of wet food cost $1.30. When you open the can, you can see lots, lots chuck of green vegs and carrots inside of wet food, I think is very healthy. My cat love it, see what your cat think! Meow....

I have a 13 year old Siamese who I rescued as a stray kitten. She's always been picky with her food but in the past year she stopped eating dry food completely. I started feeding her Pro Plan canned food and then tried almost every dry food to find something she would eat consistently. She ate Nutro for a while but then lost interest. She was loosing weight and she and I needed a solution. I talked to the Blue Buffalo rep who was in store and she recommended this food. When I got home I put her can of wet food in one bowl and then a portion of the Salmon and Rice in another. She started to go for the wet food and then switched and started devouring the Salmon and Rice! I haven't seen her eat that well in quite a while and I am extremely happy. I also put down some for my younger cat and she enjoys it just as much! People talk about the smell of the food, but I don't notice it because my cats eat it too quickly! Keep it in an airtight container and the smell won't be a problem.
Pros: cats love it!

My cat has been treated for chronic skin and ear problems for years. After talking with a friend about her cat's skin problems, I decided to try a different cat food before going back to the vet for cat's usual treatment. After changing to this food from another major brand, my cat's skin was completely free of all signs of irritation within 6 days, and she stopped scratching her ears. She also seems to have more energy and her hair appears thicker and shinier. I'm so happy that she does not have to endure anymore itching, ear problems, steroids and antibiotics!!! Not to mention fewer vet bills! The smell is strong but not so bad to be an issue, and we live in a small space. I'm relieved to have found this product for my cat and letting family and friends know about it for their cats.

This cat food was recommended for the excessive shedding of my three cats. I haven't noticed any change yet (it is the first big bag I purchased). They all eat it (they are fussy). The odor is awful (like dead fish). I'm going back to Blue's chicken food. The cats liked that and there was no odor.
Pros: cats like this high quality food
Cons: very strong odor

I'm a new cat owner and I had bought this food because of the recommendations of reviews and the store's employees. I was happy at first but after a week of having the cat on the food, the smell of the food was just too over-powering. Just having the food out in the cat's dish made the whole kitchen/living room smell. We ended up throwing the rest away. The cat seemed to like it and had lots of energy. My only complaint was the strong smell.

When I first tried Blue, I mixed it in with their Eukenb. and they were upset and gave me the sad eyes.  I hung in there and kept my 2 cats on it and there have been significant changes in just 2 weeks.  My 8 year old was getting sluggish, not wanting to play as much with his younger 6 year old brother.  It was breaking my heart.  I have raised them on the two top brand cat foods and didnt' think there was much more to do.  Well, there was...I purchased Blue.  After only 2 days on the food my 8 year old was playing like he was 2 years old.  Both of my cats energy levels increased, dander decreased, weight loss occurred - it seems to fill them up and they are not as hungry so quickly. They have adjusted to eating the food after about a week - they aren't as excited as when they were fed their old high end food but they eat it and are far much more healthier.  Try a little bag and watch the difference, it doesn't take very long to see.

I recently adopted a stray cat that was brought into the veterinary hospital where I work. Since his diet before now had most likely not been the greatest, I wanted to find the best food I could for him. Blue Spa Select is the ultimate in quality ingredients. Most fish-flavored cat foods use artificially flavored chicken by-products, as well as alot of fillers. I was surprised to see that Blue Spa Select used real fish, and other healthy ingredients that I knew Carmine would love. He can't get enough of this food. He also loves the canned food, which he will have occasionally. I am now in the process of switching my dog's food over to Blue as well. Buying pet food can be a daunting task...when in doubt, choose Blue...you can't go wrong.

One of my four cats was having a severe allergic reaction to something. He had really bad scabs all over his body. I took him to the vet and they said that he was probably allergic to fish. So I tried ALL kinds of food and nothing worked until I tried this food. It turns out, he is really allergic to chicken!! So I buy the Salmon flavor. Not only has his skin cleared up but all 4 cats seem more energetic and their coats are all so much softer!!! It does cost more but it is so much healthier for the cats, and they are worth it!
