I bought this product in a rush, I foolishly wanted to get my Gecko home on the first day.
This product contains a small container of plain calcium, which is the best thing in the box. It's not much, but it's lasted a full month, and I think I can squeeze out another month's worth of dusting from that little sample.
Then there is a small packet of multivitamins, which may last about a week, maybe two, and a packet of reptisafe water conditioner. If you pour it into a big jug, it might last you a month and a quarter, if you change the water every day, as you should.
And then there's the can 'o crickets, and the can 'o worms. I don't know why I was expecting them to be live. But they were all dead and smelled awful. The leopard gecko didn't eat it, and I had to throw them all out. Absolutely useless, and probably not very nutritious even if it had eaten some of the canned junk.
My advice to you is to buy the clalcium and multivitamins, and the water conditioner ( make sure it's intended to remove chlorine/chloramine and heavy metals ) separately, in larger amounts. You have no choice but to get the mealworms and crickets live.
This may be more pricey, but it will be better for your pet and less stressful on you in the long run. If you can't afford it, you should put the gecko on hold until you can meet it's needs before bringing it home.
