My dog really appreciated the reliable warmth from this coat while spending some time in the Northeast this winter and for that reason I gave it 4 stars. It seems durable too and dries quickly. My one comment is that it would be even more practical if you live in super-cold areas for it to have "sleeves" too, especially if your dog will be trekking through snow. Regardless, I recommend this coat.
