While the idea of dabbing a bit on the paw seemed like a good one, the cat did not agree. Most of it got flung off but I imagine she had to lick it clean from there. It did, however, mix in well with a little moist food to which I also added a bit of coconut oil and Echinacea with goldseal. I just tonight saw the urinary discomfort and it was too late to get her to a vet so I made a trip to my local PetSmart. She has stopped making frequent trips to the litter pan and is resting comfortably. Maybe this natural concoction helped.

I bought this product together with the calming paste for my male cat. He is a picky eater and won't take suppliments in treat form. The paw paste apparently tasted so bad that it made him foam, spit, and drool all over everything. Thank God I had a towel handy when I gave it to him. He refused to lick anymore of it and shook the remainder off, most of it landing on the bathroom mirror.
Wanting to be fair, I tried a little of it on my other two cats, one of whom eats just about anything. Both had the same reaction that my male had: foaming, drooling, spitting. It obviouly does not taste good to them.
Don't waste your money. I now have two unused tubes to throw away.
