I've had furkids all my life and when I saw this dog bed I loved it and thought my dogs would love it too. Apparently my dogs did not love it. My girl doesn't use it much, I've only seen her in the bed a couple times. My boy, he chewed the outer lining on the bottom of the bed into little pieces, he seemed to be making a point that he didn't like it and removed the stuffing from the bottom of the bed leaving the cloth top layer and the edge. It seemed the bottom of the bed was too lumpy for him. He uses it, but has other places he prefers to sleep most of the time. I folded up a blanket giving him some cushion from the floor. I think if it had an orthopedic foam bottom instead of stuffing the bed would be great. My dog really altered the bed and did not ruin it so it still has a nice stylish look after a few stitches to one edge. The pillow sides go flat as he lays on the bed(even before he chewed the bottom out) In short I don't like this bed. I've ordered a higher quality more expensive bed from another site (it has 7 pages of mostly 5 star reviews and the only con was the cost...so I'm sure I'll get better results from the new bed) I'm not ready to throw this bed out just yet and will give it a little more time. In short pro's it's not expensive (thank goodness), the comfort level is just okay not good, and its stylish. (My dog loves the pillow edge of the bed and loves curling up inside verses a bed that is flat) My boy liked it when we were camping and I placed it on the ground outside the RV on the rug and by the way it still doesn't need to be washed. The dirt shakes off easily and the bed still looks clean. Cons It may look clean but it's not easy to wash(no removable cover), to be honest I'm not sure how well it will hold up in the washer since its been altered, I think I will get good results washing this item in my home washer only because I have a low water, large front loader washer and I can wash many items that say hand wash only in my machine with good results (you'll need a large front loader washing machine, the whole bed will need to go into the washer.) To be fair, I have large dogs, maybe a smaller pup would be happier in this type of bed. It's very soft maybe too soft for my size dog. I would not purchase this bed again. I would not have purchased it if I knew then what I know now is the reason for only 1 star.

Cons: Difficult to Wash, Uncomfortable

My sister's had this for her dog & my Bulldog loved it! He wouldn't get out so I bought one for him. Only wish the cover was removable for washing...need to put entire bed in machine to wash which is a hassle unless you have a front loader machine..

Pros: comfortable, stylish

Cons: price, Difficult to Wash

I bought this bed for my Westie after he had eye surgery, followed by a long recovery in a large cone. The low walls of this bed, assured that he would sleep through the night in a warm, comfortable place. It still remains his favorite bed a year later, very fluffy and durable.
