We replaced our 12+ year old Flexi leash with this one because the old one's leash was becoming worn due to my dog running around objects such as trees.

I must say that Flexi has improved the grip on the leash quite a bit - it is much more comfortable to hold. And I love that I have a choice of colors now so I can distinguish who's leash is who's very easily now. I also feel that I do not need to say much about the durability since my old leash was over 12 years old and still going strong! I also love having the option to keep my pooch close to me or to allow her to run at a distance while still being under my control on the leash. And it is very easy to "rope" her back in if need be.

Not only did I buy another Flexi brand leash for myself, but I would and have recommended it for any of my family and friends.
