I have both dogs & cats so I figured buying this bed would be a safe bet & it was. :) My cats are outdoors & refused to use it as they are scared of new things. However my chihuahua will go in it when it's zipped up & her & my other dogs like to lay on it when it's flat. I've laid on it myself & must say that it's much more comfortable than just lying on the floor. I have a medium sized dog Buddy who's about 25Lbs & the bed isn't too small when laid out but is too small when zipped up, although he enjoys trying to squeeze into it. lol The zipper gives me a bit of trouble it seems to get stuck & takes some effort to unzip or zip but if your not going to be changing it all the time then it shouldn't be much of an issue. If you have small children they might find it fun to lay on also :) I even use it on occasion to cover my legs while watching t.v. so I'd say it's very versatile & worth the money.

I was looking for a dog bed/mat for occasional use in the kitchen. This product looked like the perfect answer. I could unzip & use as mat for dog & zip it for the cats when mat not needed. Perfect! Except, it is so nice, soft & plush all over, I just couldn't put it on the floor. So, I am again in search of the item I had originally been shopping for but have no doubt that I will find it at Petsmart!
