I am currently living in Alaska and with winter approaching I needed a way to see my dog on winter walks. I found this collar on-line and it works great! I bought the "Hot Pink" in Medium... It fits fine. It has a quick release buckle, which I really prefer. The "adjustment" area is about 4" long. There's not a lot of adjustment room. If your dog is in-between sizes I suggest going up a size. I charged it for about 30 minutes just to try it out. It's pretty bright. I can see her quite clearly moving on the trail. The flash mode is nice intermittent speed, not annoying, and it doesn't seem to bother the dog. Unsure how well the solar panel works...I would think that if your dog is out and about in daylight it would collect a charge of some sort. If you are looking for a great lighted collar I would recommend this... I'm very happy with my purchase.
