My cat has a hyperthyroid (overactive thyroid) and we struggled with giving her pills for a couple of years and her thyroid levels never balanced out. She was always shedding, couldn't keep weight on, and was eatting 3-4 small cans of wet food a day + was being free fed dry food. After putting her on a strict diet of the y/d, her thyroid levels are not well maintained, she eats about a half can of the y/d a day, her coat is silky and shiny. She has always been a small cat, but her weight was down from about 6 pounds to 3.5 pounds before putting her on the y/d diet. She is now consistant at 5.5 pounds. She is still a petite cat, but healthy and active at 16 years old.

This product is definitely worth talking to your vet about and giving a try. I could go on and list many other pro's for this product, but the results speak for themselves.
