This is the only "rawhidey" item my dog consistently chews on, it doesn't give her diarrhea, and as long as I get a big but somewhat skinny one it will last a long time. She's a border collie mix around 40 lbs and I get the biggest elk antler I can get at my store location.

Bought this for my grandkids dog for Christmas. I was really surprised when it arrived - only about 3 inches long. It did stand up to him a bit longer than his other chews (he's a Great Dane), but with only being 3 inches long, it wasn't destined to be around very long! Good product, but more money than what little "piece" was worth!

I have three dogs and they love these bones. I also think they are the best for them. They are natural and are fortified with calcium and vitamins. They last for a couple of months with my dogs.

Best chew for active dogs

My dog goes through toys and chews at light speed and almost nothing entertains him long enough to be worth the price - except for elk antlers. He loves the taste much better than rawhides, and they don't get sticky and messy. They last for months for this very active chewer, and often the ends hollow out, so they can be stuffed.

My dog is a 60 lb pit mix who actually isn't a bog chewer. I wanted to keep her teeth clean and keep her busy, so I tried these out. Even though she doesn't chew much, she LOVES these. The multiple photos online of the product shows that the antlers are sliced, and I can see why. Sunni loves to chew the inside of the antler; it's her favorite part. Antlers don't splinter like bones do, so I know it's safe. Whenever she is done with this one (which will be along time), I know I'll go out and get another :)

I bought a large size at a store thinking it would be very durable & worth the price. My dog is a chewer & showed moderate interest in it & it still lasted just 2 months before I had to toss it. Would not spend the $$ on this again.

SLICES of antler, not whole pieces as pictured

I ordered these for our dogs who enjoy chewing antlers. They arrived today and I am disappointed to find that these are pieces of antler rather than whole antler. It looks like each antler of 5" or 6" long has been sliced into 3 or 4 pieces lengthwise so they are thin and somewhat sharp. I will be returning them as they are not the full piece of antler as pictured.

I have two Australian Cattle Dogs. I just Adopted a 1 year old red heeler and she loves these chews. She was chewing on things in the house and once I gave her one of these all of that stopped. I give them all three different kinds, moose, elk, and deer. The elk is buy far their favorite. :) Just make sure to match up the minimum size to your dog cause aggressive chewers can break teeth on these antlers or make a sharp point on the antler. The antlers in my house hold last a month, so it's worth the money.
Pros: dog loves it
