First the pocket is too small for one of the pills.(Fits most? Lucky me). I thought I had bought the large ones. I was still able to get him to eat that one even though it would not fit, let alone closing the top of it. The only reason he ate that one was because it was a gel and had no taste at all. The one that did fit is the one with the bad taste and he just ate around the pill and left it on the floor. And the only reason it even fit was because I only had to give him half of it. If it had been a full pill it would not have fit either. It would have been worse then the gel pill.
Having said all that, I can't *really* blame the pill pocket. If my dog would just take the pills..... But at this point I'm tired of having to fight with him. I'm tired of trying to fool him. And the last straw is that the pill pocket is not big enough for the pill that he did take.
BTW I just tried to give him the gel again and it did not work. He was on his way to eating around it before I took it from him

Lexi is very hard to give pills to! She recently had surgery and was on three pills four times daily. I was thankful to find this product! I cut each one in half so it wasn't so large and she could swallow it quickly. She never got tired of them and we got through the medicine without issues. Thanks!
