Great Food

My dog has what we call a "delicate constitution" with stomach issues and would chew and lick his paws all the time. Our vet recommended this food and he's been on it over 5 years now. No more sores between his paws, no more licking and no more stomach issues. He's 8 now and we plan to keep him on this food as long as Nutro continues to make it. Liked the old formula better, but our dog still eagerly scarfs it up. He also gets frequent comments for his shiney coat. My biggest con is the price. It's not cheap food.

Our rescue dog had digestive issues from when we got him, and is actually prone to getting parasites or other infections. We took him to the vet multiple times, but once the medication was done, his issues kept coming back. We switched him from a general adult food to the Adult Fish Meal to bring him on the (1) limited ingredient diet and (2) switched the protien from chicken (or whatever is in the general stuff) to a fish. The simple fix did wonders and has been great for our dog. As long as they keep making the food, we'll keep buying it!

I recently switched over to Nutro & I'm already seeing a major difference in my dog's sensitivity to foods, an improvement in his coat & skin, and his activity performance has improved!! I am happy I made the switch & will stay with Nutro for as long as my paws are happy & healthy :)
