I have tried other large breed food, and my dogs leave it sitting,with this Purina One Large Breed Puppy and also Adult,my dogs love it. They can't get enough of it.I also went online to see which dog food ranks at the top and was very happy to see that it ranks # 2 on being the heathiest dog food.

Ok......we have a 10 month old Great Dane Pup and she completely stopped eating her food. We tried 4 top suggested brands from website research. I was days away of going to take her in to the Vet to see what's going on and I decided to make one more small bag purchase. Purina One Large Puppy Lamb and Rice. My Dane inhaled the 1st bowl and ate half bowl more! I think we just found our own Top dog food. Some dogs can be picky at times and sometimes I guess us dog owners feel more like parents and want the best for dogs as well. So we just keep trying until we get it right.

I have a 3 month old German Shepherd that we got when he was almost 8 weeks old. The breeder sent a small bag of Science Diet Large Breed puppy, and he wouldn't touch it. We took him to the vet about 3 days later and she told me to try Purina One or Purina Pro Plan. I ignored her thinking Purina was cheap and therefore couldn't be good. So off to Petsmart we went and the helpful employee suggested we try Authority Brand. It did seem like a great quality food for a great price, but our finicky little guy wouldn't touch it. So we went back and Petsmart and returned the food, no questions asked. So then we tried a small bag of Royal Canin German Shepherd puppy food, he would eat it, but only a few bites here and there and only about 1 cup a day, which wasn't very much. We took him back to the vet for his 12 week shots and she asked why he was so thin? She gave us a small bag of Purina One Large Breed puppy and we thought what the heck, we'll try eat. So when we got home, we put a cup in his bowl and off to the races he went. When we was finished he was so wound up, we saw a side of him we had never seeen. We went right over to Petsmart and bought a 31 lb bag. Two weeks later he's gained 14 lbs and looks great. He's a completely different puppy. We will never feed him anything other than Purina One and will never shop anywhere but Petsmart for our pets needs!! We go back to the vet in two weeks, she will be surprised!!

I absolutely love giving this to my puppy she eats it almost all right away like she should, before i would have to add something to her food to get her to eat it but with this she just eats it willingly without LOVE IT!

I have fed this food to all the dogs I have owned, and have always been pleased with the way their coat and teeth look, and their endurance walking or playing. I have, also, received many compliments from others who visit our home. Purina has been around for a long time and know pets....it shows in their products.

I would absolutely recommend this food for growing your large puppies strong and healthy. I have fed it to my Great Dane puppies with amazing success. They turn out to be big healthy boys with great health and beautiful coats!
