High quality dog food

We have been feeding our 3 Vizsla's Purina One Lamb and Rice for several years. They are healthy and active dogs and have beautiful coats. They love their food and finish it off. We had tried other brands prior to purchasing Purina One and even though those brands cost more and were highly touted, the quality did not compare to American made Purina One.

Reduced my dogs itching

We weren't certain of the cause of our dog's continual itchiness and subsequent scratching; but we suspected a food allergy.

We had heard somewhere that Lamb & Rice was a good combination for dogs with food allergies.

Well priced, and uncertain, but I think it it Gluten free.

Anyway, our 3 dogs LOVE the nugget bites within the food. So much so that they strip the bowl of the nuggets first, and then eat the other pieces later.

A winner amongst our dogs, they are excited when we fill their bowls!

I was unsure about changing my dogs food because not only are they at 2 different age level's but also I have had them on a another type of dog food but when their vet said about changing the food I was kinda worried but come to find out, they love the food and they both be licking their bowls everytime they are done eating and it gives them more energy..

I adopted two young male dogs with one being a large breed and one being a medium breed. I was having a challenge finding a food they both liked. I tried them on several different brands and flavors. Purina Lamb & Rice has them cleaning their food dishes. They are both maintaining healthy weights and great coats! I would highly recommend this food.

I wasnt too fond of the smell, but my dog didnt get gas after eating some of this food. I buy cheaper quality food when it i on sale to budget in case of emergency, but im picky about that too. I really wanted to try the sensitive systems one but it was not available where i was shopping. Good overall though.

I have a fussy eater( Neopolitan Mastiff) and since i switched to Purina One - She now eats all her dinner everyday . I like this food ( Chicken and Lamb ) because of the higher protien amount and the chucks of meat .. We dont waste dogfood at our house anymore !!

i have used another brand for 9 years and switched to purina one lamb and rice and my dogs love it! the oldest is picky and now she eats all of her food...and wants more! i will never go back to the other no matter how many coupons they send.....awesome food and they are in great health!

We have been extremely pleased with the Purina One Smart Blend Lamb & Rice formula. We have two large dogs, and this is the only place we can find large bags of this product on line. Our dogs both love it! Delivery is quick, product is fresh - very pleased! It is a long way to any town from where we live, so the convenience of home delivery is a big plus.

My dogs are picky eaters. Until this year they've been eating the Purina One with chicken and rice, but there were problems. One dog refused to eat the chicken pieces that were too soft for him, the other refused to eat the crunchy brown pieces that were too hard for HER! I would end up with yellow chicken bits scattered around my one dog's bowl in the kitchen, and countless discarded brown bits around my other dog's--what a mess, and what a waste.

I've found the lamb and rice formula to be the perfect blend of flavors and textures; both my dogs are happy to eat as much of it as they can get.

While I'm reviewing, I'd like to sincerely thank the makers of Purina One products for creating such a variety that both my picky eaters are happy, which has saved me money and effort to keep my floors tidy. As some one living on Disability, I am very grateful for ANYTHING that helps me make the most of my money without having to spend a lot!

This food was awful! Whoever said they feed this to picky eaters was totally WRONG!! my dog would not touch this. The food smelled awful, and gave my other dog gas. I also noticed tons more poo in the backyard. Not going to buy this ever again..

Lamb and Rice - Has chicken as an ingredient

It's not the food quality. It is the labeling. Our dog is sensitive to chicken- skin and feet issues. I didn't read ingredients until I got home. Large bag (50ish lbs) with ingredients listed on back small print.)
If other food sources are included, it would be really helpful to list the foods on the front of the bag. I have to search and search each bag during this time of trying to get food that our dog likes and no chicken. They make really difficult.
