Specially formulated for cats with allergies, this cat food features a blend of hydrolyzed proteins, fatty acids and antioxidants. It helps promote digestive health and provides balanced nutrition.
After adopting a new rescue cat, I battled constant ear infections, stinky mouth, fur loss, and hives for two years before finally getting relief with this food. After just two weeks on this food, we didn't have any more emergency trips to the vet for facial welts or hives. My cat isn't thrilled with the food, even after a year and a half eating it, but will tolerate it just the same. I think she'd prefer any other food, but unfortunately when you are allergic to poultry, seafood, pork, and dairy you don't get many choices. You may need to add some kind of fiber source to your kitty's diet, because on this food the waste is like soft serve. If your cat is like mine and grooms enough to have hair in her stool, sometimes it gets stuck to her bottom. Our vet had us add some canned pumpkin and the problem was solved. The bag also has a resealable zipper closure so it stays fresh longer, and Hill's guarantees it, so you don't have to worry about palatability. Fore warning though, this food stinks quite a bit.
