I bought this and used it for several weeks without noticing any changes. The bottle says absolutely nothing about how this works or how soon you should notice results, so I began talking to my vet about it, which I should have done first. I was told that the main ingredient, d-methionine, works by altering the pH of the urine. The problem is that it isn't the pH that causes the brown spots - it's the high level of nitrogen that burns the grass, which is why this product doesn't work. My vet explained that this can work some of the time because it has a diuretic effect, meaning your dog pees more often, making the urine more dilute. This explained why my dogs all of a sudden couldn't hold it through the night anymore. All in all, most of these products are relatively ineffective and will only serve to ensure that I never get to sleep in again. I'll be tossing out the rest of this bottle.

Tried it out this summer with my lab. He didnt like the taste but I expected that however he would eat them after he knew he had to. Didn't do a bit of good on the lawn early in the year. Had a drought most the summer so maybe that was part of it but I sure wouldnt count on it.

I was literally looking for a miracle to resolve my 85lb dogs toxic urine burns to my newly landscaped backyard and it appears that is what I'll need because this product has shown zero results after 1 month of consistent use.
