my 4 month old husky puppy LOVES these antlers! they last about a week which is GREAT because other chews are gone in 30 minutes. Theres no weird smell to them and doesn't stain. Will start buying the big ones soon!

Safe chew toy

I REALLY like these antler chews, and so does my boxer puppy. I trust them enough to let her have it in her crate when we're not home, as opposed to the other beef tendon chews that break up easily and need supervision. This doesn't leave any kind of mess and it doesn't smell!
I think adding some flavor to it would be helpful, mainly because she'd go for a beef tendon over this any day of the week. But she will certainly chew on this for a long period of time and I trust it.

My tiny malchi puppy managed to eat half of this antler in about thirty minutes. I was really expecting this to last so much longer.

I have a Papillon who is an aggressive chewer. I didn't want to give her rawhide, which the vet told me she shouldn't eat, so I needed to find something that would satisfy her need to chew (saving our furniture and belongings) and yet be safe for her. I gave her one of these antlers and she loves it! She's had it for over a month and still hasn't worked it down more than a 1/3. Keeps her busy, happy and away from things she shouldn't chew.

watch onion ingredient in human condiments

The product description encourages using Worsteshire sauce to add flavor if puppy not so interested. Peanut butter ok, and onion-free boulion (avoiding salt also good) but I suspect W. sauce wd have plenty of onion ingredinet, as it is a human meat flavor enhancer. My friend has had 2 dogs fall ill and die from long term onion consumption. I don't know the details, but am sharing to be careful and investigate before using human spice/seasonings, particularly onion. Any broth or boulion too needs to be screened. I haven't made inquriy of my vet yet, but I just avoid onion as well as chocolate and grapes/raisins. (MSG obvious too) Easy, done.
