I bought this as a training collar for my 80 lbs German Shepherd mix, and the chain broke during the first week of use during a training session creating a bit of a drama. I would *not* recommend this for a large breed dog.

Bought this collar for my well behaved Saint Bernard a few months ago and she does not pull. But somehow, while walking her into the vets office the collar broke! Upon closer inspection I saw the collar was made very cheaply and the hooks can be easily broken. She only wore the collar for an hour!!!! I would not recommend this collar for any dog. If she wasn't so well behaved I would have been chasing her down the street! I meant to return it but never got around to it. Save your money! Do not buy this collar.
