I add this to the pellets my macaw eats, and it saves me purchasing most of these ingredients in bulk and mixing it myself. It had a nice range of stuff to eat, and while I mix it with pellets, it would be fine as a complete diet as well.

I've had a hard time finding a proper mix of large fruit and nuts for macaws for a long time, so I was excited to see Kaytee begin this new line of products.

My macaw isn't much of a fan of Kaytee's pellets so he tends to pick around them until the very end, but that's his personal preference. Many parrots love their pellets.

Pros: price, high quality, smell, taste
