It does work some to freshen breath but the best results are with regular brushing and regular use of these,my older dog had a gum problem and still had bad breath even with eating these,that's when we took him in,but our little one hasn't had a problem or bad breath at all, remember its brushing and these for a healthy mouth and bad breath control.

Cleans Teeth But Not Breath

My friend and brother got me my new 1 and a half year old Dachshund Nani for x-mas and I decided to get her some Dentastix treats before her teeth got bad and to get rid of her bad breath.

Iv been using them for almost 3 weeks and they keep her teeth clean but her breath still will knock you down.

So they work good for cleaning but not for breath.

Pros: taste, cleans teeth
