I spent months trying to find a cat tower that I thought my 6 year old, somewhat large, cat could use. I finally got this one and after a week or so he loves it. He has no trouble getting right to the top. I thought the scratching post might be too short to interest him but he does use it from time to time and he even plays with the little toy sometimes. I thought about covering up the hole in the center, but to my surprise he likes to play with his toys when I dangle them through the hole. I bought mine in the store so I could check the stability and mine doesn't wobble and seems sturdy.

There are two nice sized perches at different heights my big cat can lay down comfortably and to his delight one of the posts is a scratching post. The only draw back is its unsteady and wobbles and there is no way to adjust or tighten the posts to the base. It was shipped fully assembled wrapped in a plastic bag of course the bag was torn during shipping so parts of the carpet are dirty and scuffed. It should have been shipped unassembed in a box. I think the poor packaging and rough handling contributed to the posts being loose. I hope I can find a way to tighen them to the base. I still think it was a good buy.
