My cat had diarhea problems for the first time when I tried a new food and I was not sure what was causing this problem since the new food was similar too the old food. Then I bought some food which main meat source is chicken since that is the flavor she loves, but this time much to my alarm it has very small pieces and she ate it so fast that she would throw up the pieces whole from time to time, but her diarrhea was gone. I know it is good not to feed your cat just one kind of flavor though since she might get hooked to just one type of food. I have tried many kinds of foods with fish as the main meat source but she never really liked any. This one is the first she has ever loved. She has never liked whitefish and only seemed to think salmon was second best to chicken, but she would rather have this food than her chicken food. I think it must have to be the menhaden fish in it she goes crazy for. She goes to the closet with her food in it and cries until I give her some. She has never done that for any other food before.

My kittens absolutely love this food! We tried Blue Buffalo Wild, which is a chicken based formula. While they will eat the BBWild kitten formula, they prefer the Longevity kitten brand best. If your kitten is like mine and devours fish, they will most likely enjoy this particular brand because it's main ingredient is fish.
