I just purchased this food at Petsmart recently. I have a 9 yr old Dal and we have been dealing with stomach issues since she came to live with me yrs ago. (Bad Gas, diarreha all the time) The vet put her on medication which controls the problem but has not solved it. It never occurred to me that grains might be the problem. This food has helped tremendously plan to contiune to buy it and looking at the treats they offer as well.

Pros: high quality, digestible

Tried many different kinds of dog food to stop my rat terrier's upset stomach. This is the one that did it. No more issues. Would highly recommend trying this for a pet with food allergies.

Our Yorkie (Max) from puppyhood was not only a picky eater he also was costantly scratching and chewing/licking his paws. We tried everything. Vet sold us some special food that should alleviate these conditions. Max went to his bowl, sniffed the food and walked away.
Six months ago I saw an Ad for this Wellness Simple Dog Food. Bought a bag of the salmon. Got home put it in his bowl and before I knew it the bowl was empty and he wanted more. Today no more pickiness, scratching or paw chewing/licking.
NOTE: I now also add a little of the Simple wet food for its moisture content.

Very happy dog!

This food has made the world of difference in the comfort of my dog. His allergies were causing itching and scratching. He'd been eating the same food for his entire life and for some reason developed allergies. Out went the Pedigree and in came Wellness Simple. (He would not eat Blue Buffalo) He eats the food right up, dry and canned. His itching and scratching has stopped COMPLETELY. The transition to this food was easy with no stomach upset or bowel trouble. I can't say enough good things about this product.
