My Catalina Macaw takes a shower with me every morning before I go to work. She loves taking showers and she gets really excited, I tried another brand and due to her excitement and her being a large bird, would always make the perch fall. This perch hasn't moved since I put it up and holds on strong when my bird bounces around. It also has made her feet softer like they say it does
