Fixed my cat's coat and hairball issues

I have a 10 year old cat who has a cottony, frizzy haircoat and has cronic issues with hairballs. He grooms himself and his housemates. I had been using indoor cat food formulas; but the ingredient they added for hairballs was making his coat very dull and dry. I then decided to look for a no grain cat food. I can't say enough about both of Wellness Core dry cat food formulas. I started with the Indoor formula. He loved the taste. He started having fluffy stools and his coat has improved in only two weeks.
I now have started "top dressing" his food portion with some Wellness Original formula, for a little more fat for his coat. This way, he won't get "too fat" as I can custom adjust his portion like I could not with any other brand. He has even begun to lose his "hang down belly" and is looking like a tiger!
All of this, in the convenience of a dry formula, is what I have been searching for. Thank you....

This is the BEST grain free cat food I have found!! My 11 year old male cat developed food allergies 2 years ago. I have tried probably 5-6 different grain free foods (including the super expensive food you can only get from the vet) in the past 2 years, and NONE of them helped his condition. (which was runny, smelly bowel movements-- which then resulted in him constantly wiping his rear on my carpets) I was at my wits end, and was at the point of considering giving him away. I finally read some reviews about Wellness Core and figured I'd give it a try. He has been on it for 3 weeks and not only does he have regular stools now, but as a result he has stopped rubbing his rear on my carpets! I am beyond thrilled. Thank you Wellness Core!!!

My cat started out on Purina Cat Chow indoor formula, and I initially switched him to Wellness Core original. He not only loved the food, he looked generally fluffier and his fur looked so good people actually noticed it. He was getting a little chubby from it, though, because he is an indoor cat, so I switched him to the indoor formula when it came out and he loves it just as much! He didn't gain any more extra weight and he looks happy and healthy as ever. I really do recommend Wellness Core Indoor for anyone who has a cat that is getting a little heavy on the original formula (it does warm you about weight gain on the bag because they like the high protein so much that they eat more). Also, as a biologist, I know that cats cannot digest the vegetable and fruit fillers used in other brands of even high quality food, and are pure carnivores that need high amounts of protein. So this is an excellent choice of food that I switched my cat to as soon as it arrived at my petsmart. :) If your cat doesnt like it at first, remember that the cat needs to be transitioned in percentages to the new food, or it may not even touch it because it is different. Cats are paranoid like that, lol.
