I've bought these every year and our two boston terriers just love them. They're great for chilly days. I only wish they were available longer. If you don't get them before Thanksgiving, forget ever finding one.

Fit, feel, and warmth are exceptional

I have a relatively large dog (weighs about 40 pounds) and it is difficult to find clothing for her. She has a deep barrel chest but narrow neck and shoulders. She was adopting in New Orleans and was thus used to hot weather. Since moving to Minnesota, she has been freezing her butt off. She also LOVES clothes. She will try to put them on herself if there is a shirt/sweater laying on the floor. I bought this in store because of the feel and warmth of the fleece and because it has an adjustable neck! It is great that the sweater went up to her size but it's even better that it doesn't have a hood and the neck is not so big that it will end up sliding down off her shoulders. The neck is tight enough at the loosest setting that it wouldn't do that but if it starts to loosen up, the neck can be tightened to adjust for that. She has another sweater that is made of fleece. She loves it so I got her two so that she can wear one while the other is being washed. The problem is that in the winter, the sweater gets very static-y and gives my dog really bad dandruff because it is clinging to her and not giving the skin much area to breathe. This sweater is looser in the body, so I am hoping that it will allow her skin to breathe a bit more so there won't be so much dandruff. If so, you can bet that I will be getting another one! I only wish that it came in other colors so that we could switch it up occasionally.

I have 4 Chihuahua's and they tear through knit sweaters. I bought Martha Stewart's fleece sweaters last year for the dogs and they really held up! Wash after wash the color never faded, no shrinking and they look like new every time I put them on the dogs. Love them.
