this is so far from the world's best. I had to mix it with my old fresh step (which I wanted to stop using because of all the dust) in order for it to clump. still falls apart. the cats don't like it either. I won't be buying it again!

I currently have 8 cats but had as many as 12 not including fosters or rescues. One of my biggest peeves is nasty litter & I 've always been proud that folks could come to my home & not smell any litter odor. Even friends with allergies could visit even if it was for a shorter period of time then others. I tried numerous litters over the years and over 10 yrs ago became a faithful World's Best customer; recommending it to everyone. It was great! Controlled odor, clumped well and didn't have any complaints about dust. About a year ago I started to notice a difference in their litter it was still clumping pretty good but it was really dusty. I started to hear the same complaints from others, including staff at local pet stores. We have a cat with asthma so immediately switched out her box but over time we'd notice we'd even sneeze somethimes when emptying the boxes & the dust became just horrendous! I would literally have to dust every day! I don't know what they've done but until they get a handle on the dust issue they won't be winning us back anytime soon. And don't fall for the pitch "99.99% dust free" - 1% of dust can be enough to affect pets with allergies, people with allergies and make a mess on furniture and floors. We are currently using an all natural pine based litter which smells awesome (like pine) and there is NO dust settling all over things. It could clump a bit better so I can't give it 100% but it's pretty good and outweighs all the nasty dust. I'd love to see WB go back to their original formula or do something about all the dust because they had a really great product at one time

The best litter...period!

With three cats at the height of cat ownership, I tried WBCL because of the dust and the worry that clumping clay litter was being ingested by the cats cleaning their paws! I use the multi-cat type (red bag), and it smells a little like a farm when first opened. But it clumps well, stays clumped, helps reduce odors, and there is NO DUST! Yep, it costs a bit more, but it lasts quite a long time assuming you tend to the daily scooping. Wouldn't use anything else...even convinced my folks to try it ... their little cat has IBS and can have days when she's in the litter box every hour. But even with that, the odor is reduced. Great product!

I have 3 cats, and we have always used a clay litter. I switched to World's Best Cat Litter because it was listed as low track and easy to scoop. This is true. I as a human fell in love with this litter because it barely tracked around the house, and it scooped easily without breaking apart.

Problem is, at least one of our cats is not a fan of it. She goes to the littler box, and instead of going in the litter box, she pees on the litter mat in front of the box. I am now going to buy our old Precious Cat litter instead and completely changing the boxes. :(

World's Best Cat Litter

I have 2 cats so they go through quite a bit of litter. I don't need to change this litter as often so use less. Odor control is a little better than average, and it does seem to track a bit, but so do all other litters I've tried. The best thing about it is that I can flush it - just scoop, flush and done. No need to run to the dumpster. I've never had a problem with plumbing either.

It's Okay

I have three cats. I mainly bought this litter because of the "no dust" promise. While it does not have the dust flying up that the others do, it does not clump well enough. My cats end up playing with their poo because they can see it. In addition, and this is a big one for me, it does not cover up the smells as well as the Arm & Hammer product does. I will use this product until I've finished the bag, but it is more expensive and did not deliver as I had expected.

I have 8 cat's love this litter tried the Buffalo Blue cat litter never again will I use that brand. When cleaning the litter it never sticks to the pan or scoop clumps up fast even if it's after they go. Where as Buffalo brand doesn't clump easily compared to World's best plus still leaves the urine smell in the box where World's doesn't not leave a lingering urine smell at all. It maybe a bit pricey but worth every penny won't use anything else.

This litter is a bit on the pricey side, coupons would help.
Pros: clumping, flushable, great at odor control.

am retired now. have had cats all my life and litter boxes are not my favorite thing to clean. have been using the world's best kitty litter for several years now and my cats and i love it! it absorbs odor, clumps well and lasts for what seems like forever. one bag lasts a very long time and i have four cats! kudos to them. i recommend this product to friends and to people i meet in the store who are looking at the different litter choices.

This is a fabulous litter for a household with several cats, we have three. Low dust, great clumping ability.
the only drawback is the price (it can get a little pricey with several cats).
Overall though, it's worth it!

Best Litter I've Used

Clumps as good as or better then scoopable clay litters. No paw prints on the tile after they urinate. No perfume smell. It took my cats a few weeks to adjust so I mixed some clay litter in. Does seem to attract gnats during the summer months. A single 28 pound bag lasted me almost 3 month and I have 6 cats and 5 litter boxes! This is the best litter currently available.

Has something changed???

In our multi cat home, we've been using World's Best Multiple Cat Clumping Cat Litter for more than 12 years and have been completely satisfied with it. We found it to be everything it claimed to be. However the last bags we purchased have a strong odor ( unused) that makes this product very unpleasant if not impossible to use. This has never happened before.

A few months ago, I read several other reviewers complaints that this litter smelled unpleasant and I was very puzzled since that had never been a problem for us. I wondered if they were confusing World's Best with another product. Apparently not. I have to wonder now what has happened? Has Worlds Best changed their product content in some way, or the processing? Or perhaps their quality control is non-existent? If so, I strongly suggest that they go back to what they had or did before.

I use 28 pound bag for multiple cats (I have 2 cats). The bag says it should last 60+ days. It lasted me over 130 days. This cat litter has awesome wholesome corn smell & clumps perfectly. Very little dust. No dust for new freshly poured from the bag, it breaks down over time and will dust some later though. I flushed it back when it was flushable on the bag, & I still do. Very CONVENIENT! For the price I paid, it cost me just over 26 cents total a day for 2 cats. I got no idea how much per day other litters cost, but 26 cents seems very resonable to me for the great product (low/no dust, great clumping, & good odor control) and since it is flushable (well used to be flushable *winks*).

After hearing such great things about how World's Best is such a great litter, I decided to give in and try it. I've used a specific clumping clay litter for years and started to fret that my kitty may be ingesting clay!

So, imagine my excitement when I was about to open the bag. I will admit, it is very lightweight. But the moment I opened the bag, I was immediately put off by the smell. It was very...sour? But what the heck. For my kitty, anything. Or so I thought. The smell permeates my apartment. It's even worse when I open the laundry room door. However, unpleasant smells aside, I liked how the clumps were very light (almost fluffy) and didn't use up a lot of litter. The large granules did make it a little harder to find all my kitty's presents though. And despite other reviewer's who said the clumps don't settle on the bottom of the pan, I kinda beg to differ. However, it's very easy to remove the clumps from the bottom (a pro over clay litter.) Also, I clean her litter box daily.

So, I guess if you like the smell or can tolerate it then this litter would be really great. I thought about trying the lavender scented one but my friend bought that one (while I bought the unscented) and he did NOT like it. Glad I tried it but I will be continuing my quest for less toxic litter alternatives.

I had to switch from the clay litters because of the huge amount of dust and the fact that it is not good for my lungs or my cats. I switched to Sweet Scoop and thought the first day of use that I loved it. Then the next day, oh my!!! The sour smell was horrible!! I have 4 cats and 4 litter boxes and I scoop the litter boxes at least 4-6 times a day so the smell should be little if any. When the litter mixed with the urine it turned sour and made the whole house smell. I then tried World's Best Cat Litter and after waiting a few days to make sure I liked it, I am here to say, it's great!! wonderful on clumping, NO smell in the litter box, and it's easy to scoop because of it's light and fluffy texture. The tracking is a lot less than the clay litters too. For some reason my cats would dump half of the clay litter on to the floor each time they used the litter box and with world's best they are no longer doing that for some reason. Over all, I love it!!

Love this litter

Our "previously owned" cat came with a perfumed dusty clay clumping litter. I switched him slowly by topping new litter for single cat households (in the Green Bag) with old litter, he did not seem to mind at all. There is no waste with this brand as I am maintaining his boxes this way all the time now. Yes we have 3 boxes in our house simply because we have a large house with 3 floors of living space. I also clean up any deposits twice daily and sanitize his boxes once a week. There is no odour problem whatsoever. I have asked my friends if they smell anything and the answer is always "NO". The clumps are solid and easy to remove. Changing the dry and canned food to a "high quality" helps against smell. Money spend on food and good litter saves on Vet bills. The cat and I do not like the smell of the Multiple Cat litter (in Red Bag), but I used a little of each on bottom of pan, it is fine now. I never throw away litter and house does NOT smell.

Pros: eliminates odor, low dust, easy to clean

I had tried the Lavender version of this and it was fine. Cat's liked it, I liked it because it didn't track much, but when I went to buy more I saw the red bag for multiple-cats and since I have 4 I bought it. BIG MISTAKE!!!! This was the stinkiest cat litter I had ever purchased in the 14yrs I've had cats! It smelled worse than what the cats deposited in the litter box!!!! AND it tracked terribly!!!! Hard to sift because it didn't clump either!!! One of my cats wouldn't even use it!! Not good! Do NOT buy this red package!!! I returned the unused portion and got my money back. I'm not even sure I want to buy the Lavender kind now!

Pros: low dust

Cons: Doesn't Eliminate Odor, messy, Hard to Sift

I have been using the World's Best Cat Litter for over a year now. I have one cat and one over sized litter box that is cleaned out at least daily. When I first put the litter in the box I didn't think my cat would use it. It took her a day before she would go in it. It does have an odd smell that she doesn't like but she has learned to tolerate it. Because of the smell of the litter she jumps in and goes as quickly as possible and will not cover her waste up...so there is a smell associated with that. My litter box is in the basement and with at least daily cleaning there isn't an ongoing issue with smell.

The really good thing is that I haven't cleaned the litter box itself since I started using this cat litter so it has actually saved me money. I keep the box pretty full and since it clumps so fast none of the waste ever touches the sides or bottom of the box. I know for some people that doesn't seem possible but with a large box, the fast clumping of World's Best Cat Litter and daily scooping I haven't had any of the issues as when I used a different top of the line clumping litter. It didn't matter how much you scooped, the urine still settled to the bottom and the sides, would break apart some while scooping and would always start smelling in a couple weeks.

As for the tracking...it still tracks but I don't think it tracks as bad as other scoopable litter because the granuals are bigger. It doesn't seem to get trapped in her paws as much and go as far in the house as the other scoopables I have used. I just keep a small vacuum by my littler box and make a few quick passes with it every day and the problem is solved.

Overall...I love this cat litter because of the low maintenance...best I have ever tried and I've tried pretty much everything out there!

Pros: easy to clean, low dust

Cons: Doesn't Eliminate Odor

No trail around the house, very, very light weight when scooping. Love how the p forms a ball. I have a sick cat & the smell can almost kill but with this litter, we dont smell anything. Well worth the $ & my 6 kids love it although I did add a little of the previous litter to make sure they used it. Voila, they love it too!! They are soooo smart!
