To "Everything Broke", all you have to do is call the Fluval customer care #, we have had no problems with them replacing anything of ours (including a $50 heater that I broke out of my own stupidity).

It sounds to me as if you may not have followed through with your end of things. I don't mean that to be offensive in any way, I just don't want to see anyone deterred by your review when it really is so easy and hassle free to deal with Fluval. They are one of the best, and I always recommend their product AND the customer service that comes with it!

Also, when we first started purchasing Fluval, we started with a 6 gallon Edge and a 5 gallon Chi. We had issues with cloudy water in the Chi and PetSmart replaced the first one, no hassles, and when we still had that issue with the second one, they allowed us to trade it for another Edge (we just paid the difference).

And to "Just Another Customer", if you pick up a magnetic algae brush/scraper, that should help with the bubble issue. Also, you have a betta and if it's a male, they do build bubble nests which would definitely contribute to the bubbles accumulating at the top.

This product is good. It is a nice design. Good for guppies, danios, goldfish, shrimp and many more.

Everything broke

I love the look of this tank. It is sleek and modern and a great way to show off a couple small fish.
My problem is not with the design, rather, the quality of the parts. Over the course of one year I have had to replace the lighting source (now I am using submersible LED's, which are terrible) and a new filter. During a routine cleaning, the factory filter decided to no turn back on.
The worst thing about this tank, is you can not easily find replacement parts that fit.
Save your money, and don't by Fluval.

To me this seems like a good quality tank. It has decent lighting and a unique style. My only problems with this tank is that it sometimes gets air bubbles in the upper area. The current can be adjusted so if you have slow moving fish like me (a Betta) than you will enjoy this feature. Over all I would reccomend this tank.

Just set this up on my desk. It looks great! After reading the reviews, I made sure that my arm could reach the top of the inside of the glass everywhere, gravel vac could reach all of the corners, and the net as well. Because this sits on my desk (and maybe having short arms/small hands), everything reached! Used to own a BiOrb, so am used to sticking my arm into an aquarium... that being said I intend to use the algae magnet on the top and waterline once a week to avoid the water-stainy buildup the sponge-on-a-stick can't reach.

Great Tank! 4 stars because of bad lighting

This is a nice tank. I have a male Betta, and 4 ghost shrimps in the planted tank. The only problem I have is the lighting. Mine only lasted for a week and I haven't called customer service yet for a replacement part. Overall, I do not regret buying this aquarium.
