Been using the Litter Genie and refills for several months now. Very pleased. I used a homemade system that worked very well that I developed before we found this product. This is better! For the best use, I scoop up the waste into dog bags, the cheapest available, then twist it and drop into the Genie. I add a bit of carpet pet powder into the Genie. I put my scooper into a clean dog bag before I place it into the side holder. It you don't, the holder gets all messy. Then I have a clean bag for the next scoop. When the bag is full, I cut it with the great inside cutter, close up with a twist tie which is easier than trying to tie the bag. I pull out the next part of the refill, twist tie that end and I'm ready to go again.

Expensive way to dispose of litter

I prefer to use standard scented bags at the cost of pennies rather than this product This product has expensive refills which dont offer any real advantage. Can anyone offer an enviromentally freindly way to dispose of litter? I would buy a product that was green, or more enviromentally freindly.

I just love this product because it is easy to replace and it keeps the smell away. It is also easy to change. Once the bag gets full, all you have to do is use the cutting tool inside to cut the bag and then tie it up. The refill is easy put into the device.

I had been using 2 plastic grocery bags each day. (1 was added insurance because I would toss from my door to garbage can. (I am slightly disabled) Now I can save on bags (good for the environment)! I have 1 cat and have not emptied yet, only had it 3 wks. No smell, easy to use. Looks nice next to litter box. Buddie, my cat, seems interested in this container!

Great Product Easy to use

Great product very easy to use with the Genie Pale no mess, no smell, just fill with waste and pull out a little of the bag when its full then tie off and throw away. I have one kitty so my refills go about a month before needing replacement. I have recommended this product to family and friends with kitty's.

Hi love this except the 1st time I used it, I pulled out too much plastic & then I filled it too much & the bag broke.
Now I'm more careful & it works fine. It'd be nice if they had sales or coupons for the refills
