This stuff had my 5 year old female Bombay upchucking all over the carpet, then diarrhea for 2 days! I just threw the bag away, no sense in even giving it away to someone so their kitty could get sick. With this junk you really do get what you pay for. What's worse is the dyes used in the food are so strong that they actually stained my carpet. She was immediately switched to Blue Buffalo Indoor Dry Formula and she is doing SOOO much better. Cats like the taste of Meow Mix but there is absolutely no nutritional value with corn and corn meal as the 1st two ingredients. If you love your cat and care about what goes in, then don't buy this food! You will save yourself a lot of money and heartache down the road when you have a happy, healthy, thriving cat until his very last day. Please read food labels and reviews before purchasing, it makes such a big difference in the quality of your cat's life.

Bad for cats

My cats like this cat food but reject high quality brands. Its very frustrating because this food has byproducts. My cats coats are not as shiny since they have been on this food and I am trying to find a high quality food that they like.

Cheap fillers to the extreme.

The first two ingredients in this product are both cheap fillers; corn and corn meal. Cats, being carnivores, cannot naturally digest this material healthily. The third ingredient is a named meat meal, but as it is third on the list, it does not make up enough of this food for it to be acceptable. You get what you pay for, and this brand defines that old slogan. There really isn't much else to say about this product.

Too much food coloring.

My cats like this food but I can't buy it for them. I don't know if it's all the food coloring or what have you that's in it but it gave my cats red diareenies. I switched to another well known cat food brand that doesn't cost me an arm and a leg and without the food coloring in it. They haven't had a problem since.

My cat may love this food,but I don't. The first ingredient wasn't even meat! It's just all fillers! I switched to Blue Buffalo, and made my cat's coat shiny and soft.Made her eyes clearer too ! In the long run,this food deteriorates cats' health. It's just junk food.
