I finally found a way to eliminate the litter smell. This liner absorbs odors and lasts several weeks. Easy clean up as you just toss eco friendly box away. The last ones I found were a little bit small, was the only draw back.

I have a large cat and use this as a liner for his regular plastic box. The size is perfect for him! Not to mention that when it is litter changing time, it is easy...just throw away the jumbo litter box and clean and rinse out the plastic box. Makes clean up very easy! I only wish I could find these more often in the stores!

I drive cross country about four times a year with my cat. These boxes are great for use in the car and hotel room: I can set up a fresh one each day and have a completely clean box in the car, take it into the hotel room at night, and toss it and start over the next day. They are even sturdy enough to last through multiple uses and days once we reach our destination. An additional perk is that the sides are low enough for my arthritic guy to easily climb in and out.
