I had one of the first generation of this toy many years and cats ago. The ball in that one was small enough for a really determined cat to remove it from the track. I love the bigger ball! This toy can keep cats entertained for long periods of time. My current cats fell in love with this one right out of the box. Two of them will even play a circular version of ping pong. Excellent entertainment for me and my cats!

My cat loves this. It's such a simple concept and I wouldn't have considered buying it without reading other reviews on it. He really does play by himself with it and my golden retriever actually started playing with it too. Unfortunately she would like to chew it open and get the ball... We got the large version of it. This is a winner.

My cat Abbigail loves this toy so much she wont even share it unless she's locked away in another room. I just recently broke it and i'm being ignored until I go buy her a new one.

Don't let my comment about breaking it turn you away either I full force fell on it by accident so my whole body weight broke it and it took quite a beating but only broke in a small area.

Love this toy for dogs to my uncles dog loves the thrill of sticking his tongue in to get the ball. goes crazy for it.
