The gate lasted about 5 months and has definitely served it's purpose however I am now buying another of the same brand but STEEL! I probably should have bought this the first time around:) I had no idea my now 7 month Wire Fox pup and roommate's 3 year old Bull Dog would chew right through one of the wooden posts.
