My Havanese wears this collar as his permanent collar, which means he wears it outdoors and indoors. It's really soft, and does not give him a rash like other ones we have tried. It's thin enough that it does not bother him, doesn't mat his fur, and it doesn't make him itch (Biggest plus!!!). I bought the Owl collar, and the red collar with white bones on it (same Top Paw brand/style but only sold in stores).

I bought 2 of these collars because I have 2 minpins. But seeing as they are puppies, they wrestle and play fight 95% of the time. I came home one day and one of the collars was off and the clasp had been eaten. It wasn't much longer until the same happened with the other. I switched over to Kong collars and haven't regretted it.

My son picked out this collar and matching leash for his 10 week old chi-rat puppy. Within 7 days the collar was horribly frayed and fuzzy along with the leash and part of the leash is already tearing. Very disappointed. It is very cute but it won't stay cute for long.
