I purchased this throw to put in my puppy's pen for some extra protection in addition to mats we already have for him. Being that it is a throw, I thought that he may find it comfortable too. This throw is not at all what I expected. It is waterproof. However, it is paper thin, reminds me of a cheap plastic table cloth. Definitely not worth purchasing. If it were available in the store and was able to see how thin it was, I would not have bought it. It shouldn't even be called a throw in my opinion since there is not even a bit of fabric on it. The item description should be more thorough. It's simply a piece of plastic. Save your money and try something else.
