I use this for my Crested geckos and my Bearded dragon, it works great! Some of the other reviews mentioned that it died... but neither of mine have. If it does die all you would have to do is replace the battery anyways. It has a very accurate reading. The only bad thing is the price.

I had the exact same experience as above - this worked for a month or less, then just totally died. For $30+ I would expect MUCH better quality. not worth it. It's a great idea but terrible in practice. Unless you're willing to shell out the big bucks, I suggest going analog.

I was using this in my crested gecko's tank to help more accurately monitor the humidity and temp. A week and a half after i purchased it, the thing completely failed. It started only very slowly reading/changing heat/humidity levels on screen then it stopped turning on. I tried changing the battery (runs off a watch battery) and it didn't help. Returning for a refund today.

Pros: easy to install

Cons: price, didn't work
