I bought this breeder because I had a platy who had some torn up fins. I wanted to be able to give him his own space away from the other fish while he healed.

I bought this when I saw that it hooked up to an air pump and allowed circulation through. BRILLIANT! After hooking it up it flows wonderfully and even has a flow adjuster valve to speed up or slow down the filtration rate.

My platy seems to be content now that he's not being surrounded by a bunch of activity so he can recover in peace.
