My dog is an extremely picky eater. I usually feed him real chicken etc, and he hated kibble (and even a lot of dry dog treats) with a passion. But I needed to have some dry dog food in hand (for traveling etc), so I went on a quest to find kibble that would work for him. I tried Bill Jac because they sold small trial bags, and because the first ingredient listed is chicken. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that my dog actually LOVED the Bill Jac kibble, ate it without giving me attitude, and licked his bowl clean every time I feed it to him.

Pros: price, high quality, digestible, taste

My Charlie is a mixed Black Lab and CockerSpaniel, he is 4 years old. I am not one for switching his Dog Food. When Bil-Jac first came out, my dogs loved it. I quit buying it for my dogs in the past, because the store that carried it back then, didn't carry it anymore. So I had no other choice, but to go to a different brand. So that is how I got away from Bil-Jac. I Love my dogs they are family, and they are like your kids. I always heard one dog food was better and healthier than this brand and that brand for my dogs. I always tried to buy my dogs the best dog food over the years. I found out that Bil-Jac was here and available and well stocked at the store. I went back to Bil-Jac. I had noticed with the other brand of food I put my Charlie on he was straining always to do a BM, and that he was always scratching and biting himself and loosing hair. Well, I decided too, put him on Bil-Jac, he loves it, and only eats of what he wants of it, he doesn't pick at it, or turn his nose up at it like he did the other food and pick out what he wanted of it. His coat has become the shiniest it has ever been,and fuller, no more signs of skin irritation or straining to do a BM, which is a relief to me. Charlie looks and feels healthier. I took Charlie to the vet and he said Charlie looks different, said that he looks better, his coat was looking fuller and shiner and shows no signs of skin irritation, wanted to know what I had done different? Told me that Charlie is very HEALTHY. Now, if I could just find the Bil-Jac treats if they even make those our life will be complete. Thank you, Bil-Jac.

I have a very picky eater that before trying this food I was mixing his food with cooked chicken, wet dog food ect. An employee in the store recommended I try this and what a difference! He loves it and cleans his bowl every time. Thanks to Petsmart for the suggestion!

The rep. aproached me and sed this food would not give my Tarzan the runnys and he would love it, she also sed that it was easier for him to chew and she was absolutly right. Tarzan loves it and he didnt have any kind of stomach problems with his tummy even though i just changed it on him.

My dogs love BilJac, and in fact when I got my trial offer, they actually fought over it. My only objection is that it has corn in it, so I buy their regular Nutro Max and mix the 2 foods a little less then half and half. Now we are both happy and because I feed them only dry food, I want the best for them.
