I bought one of these for my short haired dog last summer and couldn't believe how much hair it collected. She loved getting her "massage" much better than her normal brushings. I also have a cat that is 17 years old and isn't interested in toys much anymore. I got her one for Christmas and she loves it. I have not tried it for shampooing yet but can only expect it to work great for that as well. Excellent product.

Thankfully, my Aussie puppy up until recently didn't shed at all. A week ago, however, the puppy fuzz started shedding like crazy! I tried to use a couple of the bristle brushes that we had at home for our other dogs, but she went crazy and absolutely hated it. I read reviews on here, for the Zoom Groom and thought that for the price it would be worth a try. I used it the other day on Cricket and after getting past the initial thoughts that it might be a toy she didn't mind being brushed with it at all! More importantly it worked amazingly well at getting all of that loose puppy fuzz off of her. While it's a bit small for my Golden retriever, I also run it over him every day while petting him just to get some of the excess fur up and off of me!

I use this for normal brushing and during bath time. It works up a good lather and Aston seems to enjoy the massage. I also use this after I use my Furminator to get rid of loose hair. It gets the job done.

This brush works amazingly on my broken coat jack russell. He sheds, a lot. I noticed a huge difference immediately, and find he sheds less now. I brush him everyday and he absolutely loves it. It is so gentle, and seems to give quite a relaxing massage.

I find that his hair gets everywhere though, so I would recommend out door use. But overall, I think this brush was a great buy!

I really like the zoom groom!I have a blue heeler/rottweiler mix and he sheds like crazy! One of the groomers at petsmart recommended this to me in place of the furminater because the zoom groom does not irritate the skin. I started using it and right away noticed a difference. My dog now comes to me right away when he sees me pick it up. The only thing I wish it had is a hair catcher, it is best to use this outside or inside if you plan on vacuuming right after. I follow the brush with a comb and it works really well.
