My 7 lb Yorkie was able to open the latches and let himself out. I came home one day to have him greet me at the door with my apt ransacked. It was relatively easy to put together, and I like that it is portable. Easy to collapse and clean. I have tied a string around the latches to keep it closed so it is okay now...
Pros: easy to assemble

I have 2 Chihuahuas that are only only partially housebroken -- this has been a long work in progress. I bought this pen so that I could set it up in my kitchen which has vinyl flooring so that no accidents would occur on my new laminate flooring while I was at work. One of my Chihuahuas is your typical "apple head" with short legs while my other is more the "deer head" type with longer legs. The dog with the shorter legs was well contained in the pen; however, the dog with the longer legs was able to jump out of the pen. Also there was no way to stabilize the square shape. My little dogs were easily able to push the sides out of square so that the pen looked more like a narrow trapazoid. I am now looking for another solution that will work for both dogs but won't take up my entire kitchen.
Pros: easy to assemble, price
