I bought this for my 11 year old dog. He seemed to find it very comfortable and would sleep deeply. But we adopted a one year old companion for him and she chewed the bed up. Cover is easy to chew and claw through. Only took one night for the young dog to shred the foam. Can't buy another bed until the pup stops chewing so much.

I purchased many pet beds over the years that were alright but when my 95lb. mixed Golden was diagnosed with arthritis I talked to a salesperson at Petsmart to find her the best bed for her needs. She loves her bed, as does her 4 year old brother, so we bought him one too. Easy to clean with a small hand-held vac. and a sprinkle of carpet fresh. These beds last for years and keep their shape well. Come in different sizes.
Pros: comfortable, durable, easy to wash
