I don't know whether my mice are picky or not, as this is the only food I have ever tried with them. I don't plan on switching unless they discontinue it because my mice love it. They always grab a piece and chew, chew, chew! Also, it is in adorable shapes and is very good for them. It's adorable when they grab a star or heart and nibble on it. Awwww! I 100% recommend this for mice.

I have really picky ratties whom I have tried many different types of food on and one day I saw this new type of food. The price per pound was better than other brands and it seemed to have less filler ingrediants than other brands. I thought since this didn't fill up on corn and had real seeds mixed in my rats would like this...but even mixing it into their old food so they could adjust they simply ate around it and refused to eat this food! I mixed in the whole bag with their old food so there was no way I could return this. Even after slowly adjusting them to the new food they were still too smart and just tossed it aside. If you don't have picky rats I suggust trying this since it has better ingrediants and less fillers, but only buy one bag incase they don't eat it. Overall I love the Vitacraft brand since I use their treats all the time, but I'll have to skip this food next time I'm shopping.
