I love the prodect but it's too big for my guinea pig cupcakes small petstore cage, but if u have a large C&C cage or "free range guineas" I would highly suggest it. Also the food area is far to large for a guinea pig or 2, but if you have a large cage & 3-5 guineas or a rabbit I would highly suggest this prodect.

This is my chinchilla Ellie sitting in her new feeder. She is so funny haha!
I bought this for my chinchilla thinking this would be great for her hay and pellets. The only thing that I do not like about it is my chinchilla is small she is still a baby! So currently she can fit in it and she poops in it. Secondly she will pull all the hay and either put it on the floor and eat it or pull it through and put it in the pellet holder compartment. I still think that its a great product though. I just wish she would keep it in her food bowl. But other then that. its my only issue
Pros: durable, easy to clean

I had this for about a month and a half. My chinchilla hated it with a passion. She would yank on it constantly and bash it against the side of her cage until finally she broke a huge chunk of it off.
Cons: poor quality

I initially bought this because my rabbit kept throwing his foodbowl around his cage and getting the food all over. It definitely fixes that problem, as the clips it uses are quite strong (but easy to remove). It manages to keep my bun from making too much of a mess, and yet it isn't hard for him to get at the hay. It does have a deep pocket where he can't reach the last of his hay, but I refill it often and haven't found this to be much of a problem at all. It holds plenty of food, as well. I purchased a second one for my chinchilla, who likes to use it as a perch while he munches on hay. Overall, it's a very solid product!

I have several show Holland Lops that live in large wire cages. My buck would always tip over his food dish and I've been looking for something that would actually stay in place. I've had this bin feeder now for 2 weeks and its perfect! Its easy to clean/use and no more wasting food! Can't say enough about this product, I just love it!

This is a wonderful food dish! I used to run into problems all the time with my guinea pigs tipping their food dishes over the second I put them in! I tried all different sorts - plastic, ceramic, weird shaped, and even cat bowls but I had no luck with any of them. I saw this one day in passing and I figured I'd try it... I was not disappointed in the least! It holds hay and a decent amount of food! I ended up buying these for all 3 of my guinea pigs and I always keep an extra on hand for the pigs I foster. It helps keep the mess down, they can't flip it over, it is extremely sturdy, and easy to refill! Seriously, I couldn't have asked for a better product!

The clips are strong and the bin itself is very well made, but my only problem is the metal grating that is holding the hay back is not attached to the bin. My rabbit likes to pull the hay and the metal grating pops off all the time, so there's hay everywhere. I would give this product a higher rating if the metal was attached :(

Here it is with the cardboard filler I made.

And here is what the cardboard filler looks like.
It is durable and has strong clips to hold it on. It is flawed due to hay manger having a pocket where hay can not be eaten, but I fixed it easily by putting a small cutout of cardboard to fill the pocket. It does hold plenty of food(1/8 cup per pig, per day) and hay for a day for my two Guinea Pigs which is when you are supposed to refresh Guinea Pigs food anyway. Also the food compartment keeps the hay mess down because it catches any dropped hay as they pull it out.

When i saw this item i thought WOW what a great 2 in 1. So lets start by saying the overall construction of the item is very solid and the clips to hold it on to the cage itself is great. The flaw with this design however is the hay compartment is quite small and alot will still get pulled out every where. If your guinea pigs want to pig out like mine do the minute the hay is put down your gonna have a mess. Then i noticed the hay deeper down is so tucked in there they can't get it and it just sits there. If you have one guinea pig and maybe just tuck a very small amount just in the top and not all the way down than it might serve you well, but if you have a pair which all guinea pigs should be in pairs than this might be something to reconsider. I even bought 2 but i ended up building my own hay cage.
